Nintendo Switch Lite is a great first console for new gamers, there's a reason why Nintendo consoles are often the first consoles played by many children. Animal Crossing is another great game for people who don't have a lot of gaming experience.

I don’t like handheld consoles cause of swift drift at least with a controller if you get swift drift you can just buy another controller

Hi nice video. Do you have to buy the Mario Kart Simcard to play the console? Or does it have games in it already?

Yes you need the SIM card in order to download games. It has some free games but most games need to be purchased separately.

If you mean the game cartridge, it's optional you can either buy that or you can go to the Nintendo Eshop and buy the game digitally and it will download on your console. But yeah either way you're going to need to make additional purchases for each game and if you plan to go all/mostly digital, you will also need to buy a microSD card for more storage space.

Zelda is a cool game. And not that hard but maybe look into a Zelda game like Links Awakening. That’s also super fun. I’m more of a rpg guy … so I threw many hours in the Witcher 3 and Xenoblade

I would rate it a 6/10. Only because I wish I had invested in the regular switch or oled. My sisters and I like competing and we can’t really do that with the lite ( but I knew that when I bought it) but it’s great for traveling. When I went to Japan it was great for the long flight.
