I like how people are complaining when Nintendo is trying to do something new, yet they still complain about the "lack of innovation" in this console generation.
Its all in price nx is clearly more of a hand held than home console so i would much prefer lower price tag and x1 than higher one and x2. Nx out of the box lost teraflops race with ps neo and xbox scorpio regardless of using x1 or x2 any way.
Whilst the switch seems a little antiquated now it's like 7 years old and a successor still hasn't been announced, it's impact on the gaming landscape has been massive. The steam deck, ROG ally, Logitech G Cloud, Aya Neo all I'm sure can lend either their existence or their success to the switch. Playing PC games at 800p medium/high settings at 60fps on my steam deck as my main machine for the past couple months is such a shift in how we can play AAA games from the more traditional desk or TV setup and I owe that to what the switch started all those years ago. It's truly awesome.
Actually the X1 seems like a pretty damn spot on guess given how Nvidia Shield still utterly destroys it's competition in terms of performance. The TegraZone market has some extremely impressive ports and it's not inconceivable to believe the Switch is on he same tier.
weez daily You know what that's my bad the Shield Portable uses the Tegra 4 which is really decent. A good thing for Nintendo is they aren't pushing for 4K, they're going for simple accessibility of playing games on the go. Something neither market really caters all that well to.
Will never learn what? The CPU is stronger then the PS4 and Xbox One and if they upgrade it to Pascal or or a stronger Maxwell chip then it'll have a better GPU
they aren't competing with the ps4 or xbox 1... that's why they never learn. There opponents will be Neo and scorpio, and they'll get blown out the water.... again.
Even if it was faster which I doubt it is still going to make porting much more painful due to different architecture. My bet is that this thing will do even worse than the Wii U since a lot of the Wii U userbase actually bought it because they thought Nintendo again would support third party developers.
I would say it will. It would be a reason why the NX was put back and if the rumours about it having a cooler insides are true. The X1 doesn't need a cooler and the X2 does.
Well Nvidia is holding a talk called "NVIDIA Tegra-Next System-on-Chip" on the Hot Chips Conference at August 22th, so I guess we will find out soon, if they have something more up to date.
I wouldn't bet on something more up-to-date! Nintendo is notorious for using old tech. They used that kind of "lateral thinking" since Game & Watch and the NES.
I can't hear that dude anymore cause I unsunbed once he started in with the weird Sarkeesian vids. I don't get that. I don't agree with the woman most often, but I don't go around catalyzing her channel when I disagree.
+Jonas King hating on her is guaranteed views thanks to the die hard ant sjw circle jerk. I can't really blame him for wanting to cash in on it but it's just lazy and boring.
They saying bowing out of traditional consoles, which is the smart thing for them to do. Nintendo does well in the handheld market, but poor in the console market since PS1 entered the stage. Sony has the console market on lock down atm, Nintendo can't compete with them there. This is a way for Nintendo to solidify their handheld stronghold. Neo and Scorpio are just around the corner so it would be suicide for them to try and compete directly against Sony and MS
Yoopsen213 Actually I think 3rd parties did say they will support Wii U, they had a big presser showing all the studios who were going to support the platform and then they abandoned it right away lol I think the NX will do well though if it's priced right, cheaper than the competition but also gives a big list of exclusives. If you combine the 3ds and The Wii U library, we could see something like that on the NX
It's replacing both 3ds and wiiu. Meaning all in-house devs will work on games for it. Constantly. Would you buy multiplats for it anyways? Would you rather have another gimped PC you put under the TV?
but nvidias ARM graphics chips are based on their gpu-architectures (K1=Kepler, X1=Maxwell), so it would be stupid of Nintendo not to use the P1 or however it´ll be called ^^
Welp, a Nintendo NX console home/portable hybrid is good for me...... if the price is right. I'm all support for portable system if it is powerful enough to handle great games, with good battery life.
I don't know, most people that want a portable game will just use their phone. I know I don't want to lug around another piece of electronics. They aren't going to be able to compete with phone gaming, which is why they're starting to step into the mobile market in the first place.
A phone is a very poor substitute for a game console for anybody accustomed to playing on a real gaming device, which the success of the 3DS pretty well demonstrates. It's true though that for people to be willing to carry around an extra device, especially a tablet+ sized one, that device needs to do something amazing. And I doubt the NX will be that amazing.
+adamaj i hate phone gaming, its just not my 3ds or vita. i think there must be more like me out there. if it ever comes to phones or nothing ill just read a book.
I really hope everyone still takes everything with a grain of salt. Everything we know of NX, as of yet, are rumors. Only thing we know is that its a "dedicated console" and that Breath of the Wild, Just Dance 2017 and Project Sonic 2017 are coming to the console. I personally think it will be that new chip they will use or something. I really doubt they will not be close on pair with PS4 and Xbox One. Especially considering the new Sonic game is coming to those 2 AND NX!
To be fair, there have been instances where Sega had separate versions of Sonic games made for lesser Nintendo hardware (the 3DS version of Generations, for example).
The PS2 versions in particular ran like shit, so yeah, I think they did. They probably could've/should've squeezed a lot more out of them, but that was probably more time and effort mucking about with the cross-platform middle-ware than Sega could bear.
Indeed. I kind of hope it's a place holder, but I'm happy either way. You know what'd be great? In a year make a base with X2 in it as a gpu upgrade, X1 and X2 could then run a form of SLI
I love how people jump to so many conclusions based on some rumors like it's a fact. It's funny that they're wanting another xbox 1 or ps4. Then go buy a fuckin PS4! The Wii U is a great console! The exclusive games are worth it in itself.
If the WIi U is so great why did Nintendo themselves abandon it? It's abandoned hardware... I still have a dreamcast and I love it, but it's abandonware.
Zoe Butcher Well it's not technically abandoned. Paper Mario Color Splash is coming out in October so they're still developing for it. Companies always abandon the last generation when the new comes out and the NX is the new generation. Personally, I think they're killing their home console line and focusing on the handheld market, which they dominate. So no, this won't be the next big console. But it will be the next big handheld that you can plug into your TV with 4 controllers and play with your friends.
G Skub I do not think this device will sell well personally, especially when all the latest phones have superior gpu/cpu to the tegra x1. Snapdragon, A9x, A10, all three beat the Tegra X1. Nintendo might as well have made a new Atari 2600 for all I care. Nobody got time to buy 60 dollar game cartridges along with a 300 dollar NX when they could download the same game for 5 bucks on app stores and use a bluetooth ps4 controller or xbox controller and stream it to television. Nothing nintendo has made here cannot be done with a simple modern cell phone lolol.
Zoe Butcher I will say the stupid mobile games popping up on the nintendo store really hurt the quality of the store. And I hope they steer clear of trying to get iphone games onto the NX if they're going to charge $20 a pop. What I'm expecting with the NX is it being a beefed up 3DS (hopefully MUCH better graphics) that you can send to the TV. Right now what I hate about mobile gaming is the lack of buttons. Most virtual joysticks suck on the phones.
G Skub just bluetooth a console controller to your phone, or buy online one of the cool vintage console usb controllers, not trying to dissuade you from buying an NX if that's what you think you want and need, just saying any modern phone can stream hd to your television or you can use a mini usb to hdmi cable and then you just bluetooth a console controller and you're good to go.
Why are people comparing this more to the PS4 and Xbox One? This is basically an upgrade to the 3ds not Wii U it's a handheld that turns into a console at home not the other way around. While I do hope it's the x2 you guys seem to think Nintendo goes for power more than software, If Nintendo manages to get the messaging right for this concept it could really change gaming and if not it'll end up EXACTLY like the Wii U
The problem is that you're assuming that Nintendo's software will optimize as poorly as Android's software. They're working directly with Nvidia with this build, unlike Sony and Microsoft where they're on their own with AMD chips.
Yeah for the already existing 3DS market... Why cannibalize your own market that is already going well when they could dominate both?? This is basically same as giving up the entire console market and just focusing on the handheld market they already have. And even when it comes to the handheld market it is not certain this will be a success as it will most likely be quite a bit more expensive than current 3DS.
+bloxyman22 If they cannibalized the 3ds and the wii u they would be able to develope all their games for one console only wich would lead to more games on the nx. I don't really know if it would be better though since the 3ds still sells really well.
A Freaking Sandwich And how is that going to change things when it comes to the average console player exactly?? If it is underpowered and lacks the third party AAA titles you get on ps4, xbox and pc, then you can forget that market. The average gamer does not give a shit about casual handheld games and they certainly wont buy it just for the first party titles as has been proven with the Wii U. So again the only thing they have left is the handheld market which they are already dominating.
I hope the base station adds power to it when plugged into a TV. The Tegra is great for handheld use and is already more powerful than the Wii U, but I still want more for a stationary. A second tegra in the base station for example.
it'll be X2 for sure, the press release states: "The high-efficiency scalable processor includes an NVIDIA GPU based on the same architecture as the world’s top-performing GeForce gaming graphics cards." so obviously it has to be Pascal architecture and therefore X2 chip.
Saw that too, I really hope it's at least based on the X2. Putting a 2 year old chip in there, especially with their much improved Pascal architecture would be a bummer.
Going by the size of that thing and pascal architecture, you're talking around Tegra X1 performance at 10W despite Pascal. Or about a GT920M-GT940M, or bout 1/8-1/6 of Xbone performance
how nice to see a sensible guy talking normally presenting this video. i instantly subscribed. i'm sick of idiots screaming and swearing thinking they're clever presenting youtube gaming videos. a big thanks and the rest of you lot take note. we are not all kids watching gaming videos.
SebHighDef Not really dense but there are a lot of stupid ppl in the world who would fork cash over for tht kind of stuff if it shows to b "Powerful" or "Cool".
I think this is the best move for Nintendo. Ever since Sony entered the console space they have been considerably outmatched in sales and technology. Where do they constantly win though? The Handheld space. So what do they do? They combine the markets into one device. Now anyone buying a NX is a potential customer for their handheld games and their console games. More software sales potential for them. Will it be underpowered for a console? Of course. So was the Wii. So was the Wii U. The Wii U is basically 8 year old tech. The Wii was augh, just so bad. Basically Gamecube tech with motion control shit stuffed in. So people shocked it would be underpowered just havent been paying attention. Nintendo dominates the handheld market. Now they can try and get those 3DS owners to purchase the NX which automatically makes them potential home console owners as well. I always thought this would be the best way for Nintendo to go. Im definitely intruiged by the device and will look forward to the official reveal. My biggest hope is that the device is powerful enough to force Capcom to make a mainline MH title that uses atleast 2010 texture tech.
If this was the successor to the 3DS, I'd be all for it. It's not. It's the successor to the Wii U. Attempting to shunt the console owners into the handheld market will backfire.
It's an underpowered console because it has to be portable, and that will piss off gamers who just want a new console and don't care about the handheld part. If it's any less powerful than the PS4, nobody's going to buy it or develop for it.
In some of the earlier patents they talked about 'supplementary computing devices' which would theoretically carry extra processing power and RAM to give higher performance when the remote unit it connected. The connected portable and base unit would co-process for something closer in spec to current gen or even beyond it while still giving a very respectable portable performance when not connected. It works like that for my Alienware Laptop. When separate it runs a GTX980M but when I get home I connect it to my graphics amplifier and I get GTX1080 which is about 2.5 times the TFLOP performance.
AAA third party wouldn't be excited for the NX for no reason. I think it is more to this. Why would Take 2, Cd Projekt Red, and many other third parties be excited for a console less powerful than the Xbox One or PS4 even though the Witcher 3 runs like shit on those consoles. There is definitely more to this. There is a new Tegra chip coming out very soon. This is bullshit and I have no idea why people are reporting on this.
Jamie Robert what doesn't make sense? This is a rumor anyway. Why would AAA third party developers be excited for a underpowered console? There is more to this.
Jamie Robert Why would Third Parties because excited for a game console that is less powerful than a Xbox One or a Ps4. The NX will be powerful and this "news" is shit we have been hearing for years now.
Even if this info is correct, would AAA developers be willing to compile their X86 games to ARM? If not, I believe this will be the end of Nintendo as a console manufacturer
They wouldn't. Game developers as anyone would know are lazy, they dont want even to optimize their own games like Ubisoft. So why would they even bother with a ARM on NX when X86 can be coded to all three platforms that actually makes the money (Sony, Xbox, and PC).
+Aoru The only reason they would gladly do it, is if this console sold ridiculously well. What has been shown does not excite me and I could not see it as the " new way to play" that Kimishima said "I would be excited to play this as my first console". As such this needs so much "salt" that it could send several people to hospital for hyper tension
Speezbort Hence they have the cartridge system. Effectively telling people "we screwed up on the console and lost everything" "so we'll just stay in handheld". That is pretty much what NX will be for when it introduces that old cartridge system back.
+Aoru I personally don't equate the choice to return to cartridges with abandoning consoles. I still am of the opinion that NX will be a combination of a hand held portable unit and a dedicated home console utilizing the same cartridge. This alone does not represent anything that revolutionary, so I will wait till (hopefully) September to find out what makes Nintendo's new device so special
I think Nintendo gave up on the traditional console market, they've merged their handheld and console divisions to appeal to their huge 3DS fanbase as well as mobile gamers. Since they've dominated the handheld market for so long and this would speed up development, it's the safest bet. They may not count with several big AAA titles, but the first party software outpour may sustain the new device. My unpopular opinion is they should go 1st party. After all, most of their software is still quite high quality e.g. Mario Maker, Splatoon, Pikmin 3, Zelda A Link Between Worlds, Rhythm Heaven etc. But the NX has the potential to sell rather well, ergo why I doubt Nintendo's gonna go 3rd party.
Waitwaitwaitwait... you wrote that article? For Eurogamer? The one that has zero sources listed and is full of rumors and nothing solid? LMAO WICHUD. I love how you desperately tried pronouncing the R at the beginning too, that was cute. If it is powered by Tegra it will DEFINITELY be the X2. It is much more likely that it will be powered by AMD either way, it's a lot cheaper and every console out right now uses it. Nintendo has used AMD (ATI before) graphics in all of their other consoles... I'm not buying it until Nintendo OFFICIALLY releases specs, not some news website reporting on sources that they don't even list. It's all rumors people, and kind of piss poor ones at that.
SebHighDef Just like every other rumor that was debunked with the NX where nobody mentioned their sources but claimed to have multiple. There are just way too many red flags going off for this to be true.
SebHighDef I love how you keep calling me a troll when I clearly am 100% real. My comparison is not flawed, EVERY SINGLE CONSOLE Nintendo has ever made N64 and on has used AMD technology, it is incredibly hard to believe that they will be using Nvidia and even harder to believe after all of the previous NX rumors that have been debunked. You should NEVER believe something that has zero credibility and all of these people leaking things and telling Eurogamer these things may not even be people with access to any of it. I'll believe it when I see it muchacho. There is ZERO CREDIBLE EVIDENCE that this is what the NX will be and it is further debunked by observing Nintendo's past business practices with AMD.
DF has never presented misinformation before, what makes you think they would start now? Furthermore, if it was all speculation, then why would he bother saying that his opinion at the end was specifically speculation as opposed to the start. Your reasoning is flawed.
Going to hope for the X2 because why not, but if we get an X1 portable with a 720p screen I'll be fine. Interesting to see Nintendo go back to Nvidia for handheld tech after it was rumored the deal apparently fell through the last time for the 3DS. Really hoping the design will be sleek rather than toy-like and that the controllers have full function (dual analog, usual handheld buttons). I like the idea of the sides breaking off to form one full controller rather two separate ones (even if that is a more consumer friendly model).
It's underpowered enough for 3rd party studios not to develop their games on NX, and in this case it will have the exact same problem as the Wii U... WTF NINTENDO LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES !!
***** ipad is underpowered enough for 3rd party studios not to develop their games for it? )) and 3DS is underpowered enough for 3rd party studios not to develop their games for it as well? ))
That seems heinously stupid given the stories of muggings and crime targeting GO players. Losing a phone sucks. Losing a $200-ish(+?) NX unit is just a better haul for the kinda trash doing that. Granted, I'm looking at this from the perspective of "how can we keep the idiots causing car wrecks from playing Pokemon GO on the freeway safe". I'm sure it'd print an ungodly amount of cash so I couldn't really hold it against the devs for doing it.
+Jake “Zebular” F Sure. Let's make shitty versions of Go with all Nintendo characters! I mean SF Zero probably killed Star Fox, Other M screwed Metroid for a good decade or more, but what could go wrong with Nintendo farming out their franchises and saturating the market?
Someone else had this Idea and I agree with them This is the chipset for the controller. A more powerful one will be inside the home console. Developers will be able to program the games so the graphics downgrade when you play them through the controller alone - optional feature - . The cartridge technology is so you can take the game out of the console and plug it in your controller
I thought the same thing for a while. I mean, Sonic 2017 already answered a lot of my questions about the NX like how powerful it's going to be. By the looks of it, it seems that it will be at least as powerful or even more powerful than PS4 if SEGA decided that making a port of the next big Sonic game for the console was a great idea. I don't think Nintendo would use this NVIDIA Tegra if they wanted some developers who knew how to use the Unreal Engine either. Here is the information about it: mynintendonews.com/2016/06/28/nintendo-recruiting-someone-experienced-in-game-engines-such-as-unreal-engine-4/ Then there are the other game developers like Take Two, CD Projekt Red, Koei Tecmo and many others that have some eyes on the NX so it must be really amazing if these guys want something from it.
I think it's going to do better then the wii u, which isn't saying a whole lot. A lot of people are talking about it and that's the first step. I didn't even know what exactly the wii u was until 3 mouths after it was out.
Great video! Just a reminder, Nvidia themselves have confirmed to PCWorld among other sites that it is going to unveil its new Tegra chip at Hot Chips 2016 sometime between August 21st and 23rd. Its quite possible the early dev kits were X1 units, and this new Tegra will be used to replace them. The architectural differences between the K1 and X1 were minimal, which is why most of the Shield V1 games were forward-compatible, all the way up to the Shield console. Its possible the same will be true of the X1 and this new Tegra chip.
Paul Scott But somehow are equally expensive to each other. Not Nintedno sir. They purposely use outdated tech to keep the price low. Why do think for three generations in a row a Nintedno console(even the 3ds) are so fucking cheap at launch?
for a handheld device, this thing will be beast. I'm speculating that the docking station will have maybe have just enough extra processing to simply render games at 1080p, maybe do more if the devs can squeeze anything out of it.
using AMD is not the problem, using old AMD is. Wouldn't be a problem if they had something as strong as a r9 290 (was released around the same time) or stronger.
Considering the fact that you reported on a 720p screen, what can the device accomplish with this resolution? I would love to see another video on the Switch. For now, lets assume the Switch has a X1.
Another point to look into : the Tegra X1 used in the Shield tablet and TV aren't actively cooled. Cooling it would enable clocking it way higher. That would be a game changer. That is, if it's not a handheld-capable console. A cooler would be too big on a handheld.
oh great.....a console on par with a tablet...with a gimmick controller...and architecture no developer will want to touch and will prob have absolutely no 3rd party games.......dead at launch.
Seriously I think all the high tech computer talk was too much for some of them to catch on, and what worst he was explaining everything perfectly of what Nintendo plans (to his knowledge) are. The concept of the system is not to be the "system" killer of the top 3, but to be a ground breaking portable console that delivers a good bang for its buck. He basically even stated the NX is going be processing as powerful, or even more powerful then some of the latest laptops out there, and produce not 2k graphics, (which current systems can't do) but high end 1080p standard capabilities. What is even more funny is that, nobody is saying anything good about Xbone, yet want to slam Nintendo for being innovating again.
Even though it may be a bit too early to really tell how the NX compares to both previous and current gen hardware, I'm admittedly interested to say the least
Right. "Mobile," not "Portable." Biiiiiig fucking difference. I can see a future where Nintendo games are all about getting out, walking with your NX, finding things to level up your other thing, and, hey...maybe you should buy a cheeseburger at McDonalds while you are at it. You're hungry anyway, riiiiiight? And, hey, it isn't like we said you HAD to go to McDonalds, we just gave you a levelling incentive! I just threw up. Just a bit. On my WiiU.
i honestly think it might be something like the game boy player and the gameboy combined into one single console, with the tablet being the gameboy and the "dock station" being the NES, while out and about the games will play using the components in the tablet, however when plugged into the "dock station" it will run using the superior components in the "dock" increasing the frame rate, picture quality and maybe even better models and graphics if the game allows that
i wonder if the base station will boost performance in any way. perhaps allowing the handheld to have a lower but not too low resolution screen while still being able to render the same games at much higher resolutions and with more effects and features. perhaps we will see games have "away" and "home" modes. maybe the base station will even be upgradeable in the future, either by buying entirely new ones or just by an add on to it.
***** Their recent increase in market worth is due to Pokemon Go which has nothing to do with their handhelds or consoles. Game wasn't even developed by Nintendo to begin with, and thus their stocks have dropped lmao. Try again fanboy.
The detachability of the screen could mean that it can be used as a VR and the controllers are meant for left and right hand VR controls. All you need now is a cheap headgear that can be bought as an accessory. It's possible...
Jamie Robert They do, do your research, they have so much third party support right now. There is more to this plus this is just a rumor anyway. Cd Projekt Red and Take 2 wouldn't be excited for a underpowered console, that makes no sense. There is more to this. Plus it is still a rumor.
nintendo actually cant go bankrupt there demographic is young people you may not like it but they will never disappear all they need is a new mario kart every 3 years and there set lol
Unfortunately for you. Nintendo owns Pokemon Brand, but all the Pokemon games are not made by Nintendo. developers. GameFreak is the major developer that produces handheld pokemon games and its a different company that makes Pokemon go.
The 3DS ALONE has sold over 20 million more than the PS4. Just because the Wii U only sold 13 million doesn't mean shit. Nintendo is dominating the video game market. The 3DS has outsold the PS4 and Xbox 1 COMBINED. Considering this will be a handheld console, well, do the fuckin math.
I'm really hoping NX takes advantage of Vulkans ability to combine different GPU's so that when the handheld is put in the dock it allows the games to have better graphics on a tv, while allowing that low powered handheld gaming experience for when you're about.
Sounds like a good upgrade to me! Old-style cartridges, Wii remote controls, better graphics, even 1080p. Perhaps they're combining portable and stationary type games on one system! It would be like having a 3DS and a new console all in one :D I'm curious about how multiplayer works and especially the battery life. It would be perfect for road trips if they included something for that!
Change the title of this video. This wasn't a reveal. As you so stated YOURSELF near the end of the video, this is just speculation. It all boils down to an official reveal from Nintendo themselves, and that's when I'll make an opinion of it. This is just clickbait.
The DS has done phenomenal. So did the Wii. The NX will be totally different. And of course they're going with a better chip than that. It'll have exclusive hardware. What they're testing with is most def not what's going to be in the final product.
G Skub The NX is going to flop. They fucked up and pulled a Wii U mistake for their mobile device. Nobody wants to buy a damned Nintendo exclusive mobile device that isn't more powerful than the newest iphone where 3rd party support is non-existant AND pay 60 bucks per game when you can buy the same game in the Apple app store for 5 bucks. There's no possible reason anyone would or should buy the underpowered NX.
Zoe Butcher My point was it's not going to be underpowered. Nintendo has never went backwards in hardware and it won't this time. The only way it could be looked at that way is if they kill the console line and this is the successor to the DS. If so, it will still be a jump from the DS and it will be a handheld that will have HD TV capabilities. I love playing wii u games off TV but the 3DS graphics are shit. If they bump up the graphics and allow multiplayer on one device with controllers, count me in.
G Skub A fucking iphone is more powerful than the NX dude! How can you justify buying this piece of shit? It's going to have exactly 5 fucking games on launch day and only one of them is worth purchasing. Zelda. Game developers have abandoned Nintendo. If they had just switched to x86 architecture game developers would've embraced Nintendo once again, but they've shot themselves in the foot for the last time. I suspect Nintendo will eventually decide to go the way of Sega and make games for other mobile devices, but they should've skipped the NX and went straight to doing that. What possible reason would anyone want to buy an NX, then buy the 60 dollar cartridge when they could download the same game on an app store for 5 dollars?
That's kind of reassuring to hear, if it is a bit better than Wii U then we can expect some powerful games. Mario Kart 8, Splatoon etc are nice-looking games running at fast framerates. I was mostly hoping for the new Zelda to have *at least* stable 30 on the NX.
I dont want a fucking portable console, Nintendo! Goddamn! Give us a fucking console that will out-perform competitors and draw in 3rd party interest! Im tired of this "innovative" shit. The Wii was a fucking Fluke, nintendo! That is not gonna happen again!
+Rdn Tv 3RD parties arent going to support the NX. Its going to be way to hard to port games to it. Not happy with you Nintendo. This is going to sell less than the Wii U.
The first Denver CPU cores had some issues with anything that was less than a straight line race. Meaning, where data was more spaghetti like it would have difficulty because the binary translator would choke up. So maybe the more standard Cortexes would be a better fit than the X2 with Denver 2. You can't perfectly linearize all the data in a game, things like physics will cause spaghetti like data situations.
The more I learn about NX, the more excited I am. This sounds like a dream console. Mobile and home console in one, able to play mobile games as well, detachable controllers for multiplayer. I bet it can even take phone calls haha.
