I just got my OLED switch. I was the 4th one in line and then 15 other people started lining behind me. 😮 A few people walked out disappointed that they couldn't get an OLED cuz they were sold out.. but I'm glad I was there early... It's so worth it and it looks so beautiful. I've debated over the week if it was worth the upgrade and I was so glad I decided to get it.

@@ryanarroyo5918 false, it comes with a thin layer to stop the glass from going everywhere if the switch screen smashes, it’s not a screen protector so don’t peel it off

I hate the vent design on the new one given that the switch gets a bit toasty on the dock I thought the vents would be more accessible for air flow

The inside of the dock is actually glossy? I usually brushed the inside of the dock to keep the dust away. With the glossy part, I’m afraid it will scratch easily from cleaning it.

Hi Mark my new Oled Switch had a crisper screen and brighter but a slight greenish tint compared to original any one else see this too I had a TV like that but you could alter the Gamma to ballace it my new TV has a pinkish tint it seems to be an Oled problem you don't get it with LCD.

Hi can you keep playing on OLED version for 6 months or a year? Because I wanna know if this thing OLED keep burning. I remember my Vita Phat here. After 1 year, I spot the OLED burn on my Phat screen. Thank you Marck The Greek. 🙏

I've got mine today. Also the white one. I had the very first Switch so i thought it was worth the upgrade. But, my left JoyCon can wobble a Tiny Tiny bit more then the right one can. Had the same on my other device, the 1st gen Switch, so i think its just the overall build. Do more of you have this feature?

Screen does look nice apparently only 380nits of brightness though which is a bit disappointing. Agree unless you use loads of handheld (which we all did more before on flights etc pre Pandemic) then stick with your regular Switch.

Really don’t get your problem with the dock cover? It seems incredibly picky to have an issue with it.

Awesome video, my grandma bought me a Light Switch 2 years ago and i am very glad with it, so much so that i played it more than my Ps4 😅 This Oled one seems Great and is beautiful as well, i just would have like Nintendo to come with this idea since the very beginning or earlier now that there are talks about a Next Gen Switch... I'll keep playing with my Light Version until then because i usually never buy the same device Twice even with an upgrade ; this larger screen though looks amazing ! No doubt 😊

Wow time stamp 10:40 there is a noticeable lagg on the non oled then the oled this means there is a higher frame rate on the oled also a speed boost this makes it a lil faster huh

PS Vita did it first! It does look nice though. The white joy cons look slick and screen looks pretty crisp. We need a PS Vita 2 to give the switch and steamdeck a run for their money.

@@broskiwhyyy6373 I guess you didn’t understand that the Vita had an OLED screen first. Hardware from 2011-12 had it while the switch didn’t until 2021 haha. Bet you’ve never owned a Vita. It outcompetes the switch immensely and it was way ahead of it’s time. Keep feeling like you’re a winner haha.

I only play in handheld mode, but I am not going to buy it. Yes I know the OLED screen is beautiful (we already use OLED screens in our smartphones) but the same device with the same power for the third time (original, 2019, OLED) doesn’t worth the upgrade in my opinion (At least for me, I prefer to try something new in the future like Steam Deck, and keep my current switch to play Nintendo exclusives).

I could see a clear difference, the colors popped a little more and black is blacker and you get the feeling that the stronger light it emits the screen, better contrast, it just delicious with that bigger screen and maybe better power consumption, and thanks for the video in 4K, text is clearer and the image is generally more crisp super cool👍👍👍👌😎

The 54GB storage is a deal breaker for me since most Mid range phones nowadays that cost $350 have at least 128GB. I don't get why Nintendo can't do that, they've become too greedy imho.

@@jenniferlees9776 You don't get my point. Nintendo has been milking their fanbase for a long long time and no one bats an eye. Toxic fans have been blinded by their adorable mascots and IPs that Nintendo use this as an excuse to abuse them, selling them overpriced shit and yet they still defend this company. Switch isn't a phone alright, but it has the same SOC and function as smartphones and tablets, the only difference is that it's a close platform console taylored for games. 256GB phones are way cheaper nowadays, and I don't see any reasons for Nintendo to not bundle it with their system. 64GB isn't enough considering that most games size are bigger even reaching 90-200GB.

All I got say speak with your wallet if you want the OLED to be $300 as the current Switch with the same internal specs instead of $350. Nintendo will shift prices if it's not selling. The Skyward Sword (10 year old game) at Best Buy is now $40 now after 2 months being on the market at $60 back on July 16 2021. Nintendo fixed the launch Nintendo 3DS from $250 to $170 after few months.
