And before that, Zelda 2, 3, and 4 had caves.

I haven’t watched many of the treehouse streams but they almost all seem to be like this, just nice people playing and explaining the game. They never really ham it up or anything

@@thefattesthagrid many werent fans of botw for the dungeons, bosses, and enemy variety. plus the world feels pretty empty when every secret's a shrine, mediocre weapon, or korok seed of which there are 900

Is the world more lively than the first one?

​@@thelegacyofgaming2928 in my opinion yes, there are many more NPCs in the world, and the side quests and adventures make me feel much more involved and makes Hyrule feel more alive :)

Same as me. I am starting BOTW still. I want the Zelda special edition Oled though

You can also explore it from the opposite direction, starting at Hyrule Castle (the part that wasn’t lifted into the air), though if you make it to the end, you’ll have to ascend your way up if the hole isn’t there yet.

Untrue. This game was being developed before Elden ring. It’s impossible that Elden ring would have influenced this game in a year. That’s not how development works

Nah caves were planned before even Botw came out. Read the interview

Err.... When I was playing Twilight Princess and Skyward sword in the late 2000s, there were already .... Caves , in particular, Goron mines and the lower part of Ancient Cistern were quite enjoyable

@@BrainWasherAttendent well I've only stated the truth.

Last LOZ in open-world style? I don't see them moving away from that. Expect the next 5 games to be BOTW style in structure. Much like OOT was seminal and influenced the skeleton of later Zeldas up until Skyward Sword, so will BOTW influence future games.

Last one? I think that's assuming too much lol Totk took a great direction, actually mixing classic Zelda with what Botw archieved.
