You might be referring to Sacred Bird Cry, its a hidden skill dropped by Yoshitsune that can be assigned to any weapon or stance with Guard+Strong input, holding it uses Anima to shoot the waves
@@kfcpatrol6630 theres a handful of bosses throughout the base game and at least one in each of the dlcs, its been a good while though so i cant recall them all off the top of my head anymore, some bosses drop more than one skill as well (Yoshitsune included)
@@Wistyfield also, im on my first run and i feel like my character is completely useless, i do very little damage and get shit on by everything , any tips?
@@kfcpatrol6630 some weapons have a much harder time than others starting out, i used Sword for much of my time starting out and was having a nightmare of a time. You should be able to get by whatever you like most, but its worth keeping in mind Soul Cores are imperative for draining ki and making openings, i can think of no other as reliable as ippon datara, good ki damage, fast, youre immune to grabs during it, and guarantees a stagger on even the biggest enemies Consider investing in some ninjutsu or magic, protection talisman, barrier talisman (cannot understate how much faster you ki regens with this), quick change scroll and poison shuriken, you should be able to temper your accessories with Melee Damage vs Poisoned Enemy and Poison Accumulation Up fairly easily (you get the materials for this by disassembling trash gear) Lastly, early game is much slower than late game, and you're going to want to try your best to hit most yokai glowing points (like glowing horns). Against human enemies certain weapons can be a lot more aggressive than others, but youll generally want to play more defensive. Unlike dark souls if you get hit youre allowed to block first instead of dodging, and try to use the different dodges between stances as the situation calls for it if a dash is too tight where a roll would be easier for example. Learning where to use each of your stances in general is helpfully but thats a given You can also increase the amount of elixirs you hold by finding kodama (lil green kids) throughout stages in a region, and can use their kodama bazaar to restock on elixirs instead of having to farm them between boss attempts
