Hello everyone! @Xenoswarm didn't show the specific active skills he uses on his skills/stance and the cores for the secondary spirit (inosasao). Can you help me? Thank you guys.
I really love your sword/dual sword builds, I've been using the way of the bushido build for a while, so i decided to go with this one next! Keep up the the good work man
Your play style is just pure savage man...u remember all the enemies moves and what move or skill or follow up..I’m no way near this level but still love watching your gameplay and builds
So cool! This is the way a samurai game should be played. Now finally got a reason for all that practice I've been putting in trying to copy your stance/weapon dance techniques.
I feel like the guy late to the party. I just picked up Nioh 2 last week. So I was stoked to see a build on dual swords pop up. I'm running the kusarigama and dual swords so thank you for the video!!!
I'm not even a sword fan anymore but I'm still here for another badass video. .....*tonfa's rule..... in all seriousness your aggressive played style helped me really improve my own play.
Yo you're really good bro! I love low stance also, your agility is amazing. The katana and dual swords build is dope I run it with the inari set and water.
I was able to combine this build and your lightning build since i had melee damage againts electrified on both accessories and weapon. Instead of going bishamonten as the second set i went with masterswordsman for the 10% active dmg and was able to maintain A agility with A toughness since its only 2 pieces of heavy.
@@Xenoswarm I totally agree! Sorry Xeno you haven't shown the active skills you use on your skills/stance. Can you help me or they are at my choice? which ones do you recommend?
Gravior Dressm Every skill you use give you 1 stack of versatility (a stack of damage) and can stack to 9 I believe. Also you can’t repeat the same skill and get a stack. You have to use skills with a different name.
I would recommend Viper's Sanctum for big sodama farming. The last shrine before the boss(in the dark realm) has a big guy right next to the shrine, you have to run a bit farther and clear out that room but if you are unlucky, like me, and have to spend a lot of time rerolling over and over it probably saves a fair amount of time with the guy being 2 seconds from the shrine
I was going to attempt to make this build but you have god tier armor, you managed to roll star skills with the correct grace you needed. Omg lol. I will never have the patience for all of those save scums haha
Hey thanks for explanation i was going to use yoshi set for simular build but i like benz i just matched it with 4 swordsman and 3 goldengourd bcuz i have 2 iai on and 3 skill damage thanls for good content and explanation on combos and yes do more combo guide it helps
Great Video, Xeno!! I have a similar build but the difference is I'm running 5 pc Yoshitsune and 6 pc Benzaiten with Tengu Kurama GS. My Usumidori( Yoshtisune's set) has purity imbued on it. Tengu Kurama gives 20% yokai ability damage on Purity targets and i chose Nekomata for secondary GS for yokai ability damage. Also converted my Otakemaru to feral and running it with Kasha soul cores. Yoshitsune 5 pc gives me another 15% on the Yokai ability damage. I'm using it with Date for the Anima bonus and Otake also gives anima bonus(confused enemy). It's like a Skill and anima build combined and it feels quite good. Also Tempered iai quckdraw and active skill damage on Armor pieces. Your previous combat guide was super helpful and cool. I've been following your videos since Nioh 1 and they are soo good. Thanks and keep making these awesome videos.
No it’s right it’s been tested many times over on th discord. The in game discription says Yokai shift but that is not correct. It works if they are in feral form
I would love to see how your skills are mapped and what custom active skills you have on each move. Im not sure if you are still playing anymore but I watch all your videos and learn a ton so thanks. I was hoping to see a 3rd advanced combat guide from you or even a one on a different weopon. I find myself loading up the custom active skills to the max but I see alot of highly skilled players like you,, pooferlama, and Kagesamaru using only 1 to 3 custom active skills. I'm assuming this is to save ki for long combos/blocking. I run a purity build using Benzateins grace with the demon slayer set. The set along with the white tiger core lets me build anima fast via Purity anima bonuses. I have Shuten Doji on my 2nd gaurdian spirit to keep extraction up 24/7. I also literally have every single weopon type in the game and each has purity/benzateins/transform bonus strength. I love the combat mechanics and being able to run a weird weopon combo like : Hatchets/Tonfa or Fist/splitstaff. It keeps the game interesting and fun for me. Im still in dream of the wise, I got the game a couple months ago and can't put it down lol. thanks dude
Nice and solid build that could take quite a few punches in DotD while also having a decent damage. My only obstacle with this build is the Yoshitsune duel in the DLC. Any tips? I hardly tickling him with anything even in Versatility 9, unless I hit him from behind. The long animation of the useful skills do not help either.
Dream of the demon? Xenoswarm: No more like dream of the cupcake Dude you be be giving this game that work🤣🤣🤣🤣I see the game’s A.I. being like what the hell
I’m looking at using either this versatility build of yours, or the other sword/dual sword build of yours that uses master swordsman gear. Between the two, which one is better to go for? The tankyness of this one appeals to me. But I like how I won’t have to do as much save scumming for the Master swordsman one lol.
A Tonfa + Kusarigama Hybrid build could be pretty fun, maybe an Onmyo + Odachi Hybrid build for people who like Odachi's but don't want to fully spec into it?
Really digging the setup. I do have one question though. Does Toshies abacus grant the same speed bonus as the kasha soul core? If so, what is the benefit of having the abacus (I’m assuming granted 90 percent of the time based on the wording). Won’t you gain it every time you kill an enemy anyways via kasha’s Amrita absorption, of is there something I am missing? Thanks in advance
Toshiees abacus can roll some of the best damage options out of any accessory. Only other ones i can think of that have as many offensive tools are hazy moon and semiore flutes
Viper's Sanctum is great for Sudama forging. The Sudama is right beside a shrine. The area in the dark realm right to the left of the boss area. Clear the realm, hit the shrine. Forge at Sudama. Didn't get what you want go to title menu, rinse repeat.
I'm in love. Am making this build , ill try it with full gear for mid attack deff so ill be bulky and use dual art on deff its a lot of defence and durability plus damage you get from versatility and buffs, i think its perfect
Great build I pretty much made it but swapped out bishmontens set for master swordmans (tranquility) set so I could easily get the star attack skill buffs suites my play perfect
The best method is to upload your save to the cloud (or usb) before you start forging. If you don't get what you want, download your save and start again. You won't waste materials that way
Great video, marvelous skills! Love your channel! 🤩 In your opinion, is it viable to have a lightning staff build with Inari 7 pieces + Benkei 4 pieces?
I haven't messed around with Splitstaff too much yet but I think Fightincowboy and PWAR have done builds for them. I'd say any set combination is viable as long as you have good damage synergy in your rolls and prioritized skills. So if you're playing an element build, make sure you're able to proc confusion from other sources, other than your main element.
I see that you have the flash attack active skill available, how are you able to switch from dual sword into single to perform Iai without the attack animation?
Super excited to work Benzaiten's Grace into my build once i get all the gear I need! Just curious, does anyone know if two part skills give you two stacks with Versatility? Say you pull off God of Wind and 1 and 2, does that count as two stacks or one? The only special case skill I've heard of so far is the tonfa's Demon Dance, which is actually counted as a different skill in each stance and thus count as individual stacks for Versatility. I wonder if God of Wind is similar?
I don't think they do, because they're seen as the same skill, hence why you can't attach active skill modifiers to them, and they're not listed as individual skills in the active skills window. You can however proc a stack through things like grapple, finishers etc.
Thanks for the video, excellent as usual bro 👍🏻. Quick question, at 13:00 you mention that you switch between the sword mystic arts depending on the type of enemy you’re fighting, do you stop and open the menu to do that every time you want to switch or is there a shortcut for it? Thanks 🙏
I gotta open the active skills window and do it manually. It's usually only done between boss fights that I know I'm going to have so it's not a big deal.
Not unless you were at the perfect equipment weight, and even then (I believe) it's around a 10% increase so not much difference. So Damage Bonus Agility is the smarter choice because you can use that weapon on all of your builds
You can use this build with Raijin dmg vs Electrified yes. You could also use Inari, but the problem with Inari with this playstyle is when you swap weapons, you lose your manual elemental imue, so i only recommend Inari for single weapon builds.
How do you Change your weapon into Draw and Cutter? Everytime I do it my Charakter Makes the dann weapon Change move Attack i learned in Samurai spells Also how and where can i get the Set items from
