No disrespect but it sounds nothing like Pat Metheny. Not the phrasing and surely not the tone/timbre of his guitar.

Nah, the first thing that came to my mind with this tune was Pat Metheny. The tune has a form and fee that easily could live on Bright Size Life.

Sensational playing and musicianship. All the band are virtuosic and sensitive. Although his playing is spot-on, the drums are a bit too loud for me - especially over the solo. The Strat sounds good for this type of material.
