This is the reality & truth, even i am a honest tax payer from last 18yrs.i didn't get any benefit from government. Till now, i dont even own a house. I am getting little salary after all deductions & goes for my personal expenses, kids education & Medical expenses etc. I am thinking of leaving job & wanted to be in BPL category, where i get benefits from government like ration, free medical treatment etc. What to do? Being a middle class person, i cannot send my kids to government schools & cannot avail government hospital facilities, due to worst infrastructure in this country. This is our fate & have to live till our death.

I am a CA Student and do study both Income tax and GST. In past 5 years goverment have tried to collect tax like never before. Amended so many provisions and they did not leave any place from where they could not collect taxes. Result of this is that record number of high net worth individuals have left India in last 4-5 years because they have to pay around 35-40% of tax to the government. Also paying GST on every single commodity is also another issue. Just imagine that you work really hard to make money and almost 50% of is taken away by the government. It's like working half of your life for the government. And still the facilities you get are not up to the mark. Bad roads, mediocre construction, poor transport in metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi etc. Who would want to live in a country like this.

Being a Businessman Govt of India is my sleeping partner, I take the risks, if any losses bear out it is I who will face the consequences,If any mishappening occurs whole responsibility will be put on my shoulder but If I start making profit govt will take the share in everything while purchasing the product I will be required to pay Gst,I will have to pay fares for transportation for my product again the fare Gst will be charged from me, Again once the product reaches the counter I need to create a Gst bill where again I'll b required to show Gst and plus each and every month somehow I earn more I have to answer to govt how did I earned more this month... This govt needs to go!!

My salary 14 lakh for which income tax 2.25 lakh i bought a car for 10.lak for (7.2lak +2.8tax) which tax 28% 2.8lakh gst then road tax tax on insurance tax on accessories so totally 11.5 lak . for 14 lakh salary i got a 7 lakh worth car nearly 50% eaten by govt now i have to pay toll

You why it is like this... Because of freebies offered by the state govt and BJP is trying to put an end to it. But people won't vote for the govt which is not offering freebies. All these taxes can be reduced, if the centre and state govt reduce freebies and invest in govt projects.

Nearly 7 states buying electricity from adani for ,7.84 instead of ,3.54 in that way bjp spent nearly 4lakh crores excess .bjp under pmfby paying 2 lakh crore was paid as insurance to corporates like reliance hdfc but they settled not even 1.5% as claim of 2lakh crore through railways they pay nearly 4600 cr per yr as premium but they not even paid 30cr as claims .in lakhs of crores they loot the country legally & pay to corporates according to CAG it was found that nearly 100-102% price were hiked for road contracts projects tunnels etc comparing to old rates in that way they estimate 7.5lakh crores in railways they say 400% increase for all projects like bridges track works upgrade station ..now railways getting privatised as it was a loss .for ur info i tried for suvidha pvt train from Bangalore to Mumbai it shows 8000+ rupees for a 3rd Ac dynamic price for Modi selfie points railway spent nearly 1500cr across india but u are saying freebies for public is our burden i never enjoy any freebies but I don't believe it's as a burden it's a offer by state govt as social justice to vulnerable group in chennai Amma mess offer food for 5 rupees is it a burden to u .they offer scholarship for sc st MBC bc is it a burden to u .they offer free food books laptop cycle to govt students below 2.5lk is it a burden to u

Coming to your statistics 28% is GST and rest you spent on other accessories on that GST is small amount how does it sums up to 50% tax would be somewhere 35-38% on overall 14 lakh car value 2. Do you think all these money is going to Central government ? 3. Do you think people didn't had tax and toll before 2014 on cars (there was no GST but there was excise, service and other tax you would only know when you went to purchase back then ? 4. Do you think other country's don't have tax and tolls ? 5. So blaming on government eating money do you own all the roads you travel which doesn't have tolls ? 6. Do you think ambanis and adani don't pay tax ( they might not pay more tax but thier wealth used in their companies pay a lot of corporate tax. 7. You stated your salary income is 14 lakh rupees so your tax is 2.25 but the current government made a relaxation under 115bac now your tax would be 1.2 lakh ( considering you have no other significant income ) which is lakh lesser if you can't figure out contact a better CA. I'm not blaming anyone but fact is everybody is taking out our hard-earned money but the impact they are creating with that money is not satisfactory. People should not question on tax. thier is no point. We need to question their accountability towards development. but the ex government was more horrible than this government. God knows what would happened such wars and pandemics had happened during Congress rule

Middle class Indians are swamped with income tax, cgst, sgst, highway tolls and what not. BJP has created a cash flow system that is choking crores of Indias. Saddest part is tomorrow if another party comes to power, they will happily continue this system without any consideration.
