EXACTLY! this is one of the best covers I have ever seen from Nirvana, and some of the few people that make covers from Nirvana that are so consistently.... authentic and I can only explain by saying they truly understand the meaning and feeling of each song, and they translate that to their style, and it is SO BRILLIANT

The "funny" thing is: Kurt wrote it out of the perspective of a rapist who gets raped in the jail - as far as I read. .....a little bit as its sung in "Polly" [before he gets locked up] .....but youre right: He also said: "Im not gay, but would like to be just to piss this rednecks off". Its a song for the women..... Perfectly performed here by two of them. ...I think Mr Cobain knew that it was.... Most of Nirvanas songs are for the women.

His song openly about the horrors of rape is Polly, with the name of a rape victim. Of course that doesn't stop every single listener to interpret and take meaning as he/she wants, needs, and what he could relate to,.. Beauty of art 😉
