@@ctra1ns I feel like this guy only nails the raspy vocals. He can't sing clean with Kurt's voice, you can hear this in About A Girl and Heart Shaped Box. Actually it still sounds really good now that I listened to it again, but still. He's overdoing the raspiness. I like both bands tbh.

@@TheBlashMusic While he doesn't sound the exact same, I think this vocalist is certainly better at replicating the songs than most other Nirvana tribute bands I've seen videos of.
YAR, I TOTALLY HATE NIRVANA'S MOST POPULAR SONG COZ TOO MANY NORMIES LIKE IT AND I KNOW MORE ABOUT KURDT THAN THOSE SQUARES!! Absolute fucking cringebag.
I agree..kurt said himself that he hated playing smells like teen spirit live because he could tell that the fake fans would only know that one song and it would bum him out

I usually never watch tribute bands, especially nirvana covers cuz so many suck. You guys did a great job. This is sick. Sound is really good too. Had it turned up on my system. Some glitches here and there but really good!
@@aguyandhiscomputer I didn't watch the whole video but I could pick out a wrong note here and there, but I heard Nirvana wasn't perfect live, which is a quality that worked well for them.
I am completely blown away by the performance of the entire band with extra praise for the lead singer. It's as if Kurt was still alive. If you watch videos of live nirvana performances from the early 90s and really listen to them you will have difficulty determining if you're hearing an old real live performance or this tribute band.
He sounds so close to Kurts voice it’s scary. The guitar 🎸 sounds spot on! Great job, guys! You put the G back in Grunge! Thanks for keeping this music alive!
U guys are an awesome Nirvana tribute band! From your look, to movements/mannerisms, and of course, sound, you all nailed it. Even your bassist swayed and bounced around just like Krist, lol. Attending ur show must be a surreal experience For Nirvana fans. 👍🏼👍🏼
@@nirvanauk I know, right? We've never been and you guys are the closest we'll ever get to seeing Nirvana live, two good reasons to make the trip. You all are amazing!
This is as close as your gonna get to the real thing! This guy is channeling Kurt! I could almost swear it was him! Amazing! I missed my one chance to see them live back in 93 and this band is probably the last chance I have to correct that regret!
you sound amazing. i cant' imagine how much work you did to accomplish the likeness of this band of which i have never seen anybody do so gracefully and naturally. vocals, instrumentalism and stage presence. keep it up!
Whattttttt! You both are insane if you think his vocals are spot on. Similar but if you close your eyes you know this isn’t Kurt. Listen to seether covering nirvana if you close your eyes you can’t tell if it’s Kurt or not.
Dusdin Cobain this guy gets the nuances of Kurt cobains vocal tone that’s difficult to pick up unless your obsessed with Kurt Cobain and really know the vocal quality’s
Growing up in the 90’s read, watching and listening to every single piece of material, seeing this is AMAZING! What am I seeing here? It’s like he never left us! I never got a chance to see them live in concert. If it’s in the cards, please come to the US! Michigan has a place for you! I’ll bring the guitars that can be smashed! Amazing guys! Just WOW!
Polar Apple and lmao? Its comes down to the individual and how they feel about it and i personally think that they do not agree with getting an actor to play their dead friend
To be fair, the songs sound good, and the guy's voice is good, and him and the band sound like nirvana. It's not my thing to just completely imitate something else, but, you guys have done a good job of that. So hats off to you for that and what you initially set out to do. I still find it a little creepy though. I'm just being honest, not many people would go out on a limb like this to be this honest but I am because I think that the world needs more honesty.
I bet it's more of a case of him realizing his voice was similar, and happening to really like Nirvana. I have a friend who plays in bands and just happens to sound very similar to the singer from The National, a singer who otherwise has a pretty distinct voice. Similar to the singer for the band Greta Van Fleet sounding a bit like Led Zeppelin and just deciding to lean way into it because that's also the music they like.
I'm Blown away!!! I was having a bad day now after watching this It got better! You guys are very f****** talented You guys are f****** spot on so spot on It's uncanny!!! Just like one of the commenters just said above exactly You've conquered this Nirvana tribute journey in your life maybe now it's time to conquer your own journey as well 🤜🤛. And I mean that with mad respect brother 🤜🤛💯
Great gig last night at the concorde 2. You guys absolutely blew me away, outstanding. I cannot wait to see you again. Please don't ever stop doing this!!
Had the song ‘School’ in my head. Thought: wouldn’t it be dope to go see a good Nirvana tribute. Came to RU-vid. Found this. They play ‘School’. Perfect. Crushed it dudes.
I was a huge nirvana fan back in the 90s, and listening to many different cover groups from different artists over the years, this is probably the most accurate sounding I have ever heard, if I didn't know it was a cover band I would swear that it was kurt himself singing.
Maybe, except this dude probably does it for the experience, of the people who pay to watch him play, I mean why else would you go and see a Nirvana TRIBUTE band? and he's fking good at it too, at the end of the day, dude makes a living and probably a very good living to play Nirvana covers 60 minutes on a show, not a bad deal IMO
Sit and watching it but I can feel tears in my eyes…you guys an amazing thanks a lot for keep nirvana alive…😥😥😥…Kurt from somewhere in corner watching it and happily smiling…crazy nirvana fan always forever n ever…great salute for you guys…come to kent Margate do show guys it’s humble request…😥
amazing cover of the great kurt cobain and Nirvana songs... kudos and good job to the lead singer how hard he needs to replicate the vocals of kurt. well done guys ! nirvana forever!
I am like some of the others that commented that i dont watch many cover bands but you rock. That was really good. I live between Lincoln and Nottingham and would love to catch you live.
You should listen to this band past regret the singer sounds more like kurt in my opinion and the songs sound like something hed write. Listen to Amethyst by PAST REGRET on #SoundCloud soundcloud.com/chriscataldo1985/amethyst
Kurt was practicing his voice literary all life what would became his trademark plus he speak something between english and american english, interesting character he was. Very hard to copy but this singer is good actually
Wow… live and loud 1993… watching this really made me think this was actually Nirvana and it freaks me out how perfect this was and so similar to the time frame. Just blown away. Great job. Kurt Cobain was so talented and legendary
@Nate Stephens lol that’s fair enough, but I never tell anyone my age! Speaking of age though, how old are you and were you around when nirvana released nevermind?
@Nate Stephens haha that’s so cool although I don’t think I’d like him to fall on me 😂. 6th grade? I’m not sure how the grade system works but I’d assume it was your 6th year in school. Depending on how old you were when you started I’d guess 10-11 years old? Yeah they’re also one of my favourite bands too although I usually like heavier stuff. I was also around when they released their albums and I have loved them since then. I think we’re about the same age!
