Nirvana - Vera, Groningen, The Netherlands 1989 

I just asked myself that question! Pre Nevermind and they were in The Netherlands!?

Well the venue is clearly small , it might just be people wanting to hear something different

Chicken Nugget Vera is a pretty good venue, they have a capacity for 450 people. But yeah I have heard that only 10-50 people showed up

They were on Sub Pop at the time, and the record label had European connections. Also take into account that the band was doing a lot of their traveling at the time in cramped vans and was staying in cheap motels, or sleeping in their vehicle, and/or sleeping at fans' homes. On this tour in particular, the band was barely getting paid enough to eat and afford gas to get to the next gig. It was not a glamorous rock star type of tour. It was a super low budget punk rock tour.

TestMeatDollSteak Now that's legit! Of course I wouldn't expect the 'Bleach' tour be glamorous, although I do agree-with/believe-in the "super-low budget punk-rock tour', but they were doing their thing, and its pretty impressive that they were around the world so early.

It was released by the owner few months ago on MP4 format.
