@@nuao88 No worries, you're technically right. A lot of the tracks on Nevermind were performed live in studio. With some songs they did overdubs and punched in a few parts.
This is amazing. Kurt didn’t seem fond of this song, and I guess I can understand why it wasn’t on an album, it doesn’t exactly have a hook-ey chorus, but the composition of this song to me really captures Cobain’s genius. The chord progression is just so creative and doesn’t exactly follow the normal rules of song writing.
I agree. I'm a huge fan of the chord changes in this song, especially going from the verse into the chorus. It shouldn't work, but it does. That's genius.
It is an odd transition for Nirvana for sure...the key change from verse to chorus is uncharacteristic, but remember, Kurt did listen to a lot of The Beatles...
You know that he does the unplugged music himself and overlays a cleaned up vocals from a live performance right?. Do subscribe for more. He's rebuilding his channel again after having lost his channel. This guy from Riot Earth is the best!
@@kagemushatoyoda9505 i was in utter shock when i accidently found this guys work. He got a sub immediatly after i realized HE did this and not kurt. Beyond amazing work
It's where all the truly best stuff is. Not to take away from some of their amazing album work but as a fan of Nirvana from back in the day, I always searched out the bootlegs, live recordings and outakes. Their official catalogue is small but there's so much more. I actually don't much like this version with the reverb and all and think the "outake" version you can find is the best. Either way, this song gives me the frisson and takes me back to my teenage years in such a visceral way.
@Stigstigster Same here bro!! I always loved the demos and bootlegs way more than the official catalogue!! Way better songs in my opinion, highly underrated!!

This really should have been played after Where did you sleep last night, but Kurt refused to do it because he thought that he can’t perform it better than the previous one
@@alexbruschi2 I think there is a really slow version I remember hearing on the montage of heck soundtrack or something.( If you're talking about sappy. )
I think it's a studio version before realize the version we know... It's identical, with that little esitation at the beginning of the first riff but with an acoustic guitar 😅
