Nirvana with J Mascis - "School" Live 

If Nirvana reformed with J Mascis as singer/guitarist I would have no problem with that.

I've been a Dino Jr fan for over 20 years and I had no idea J had more than one volume level to his voice.

J. Mascis should have done all of the songs. He does this justice

I love Annie Clark, Kim Gordon, and Joan Jett, but J is by far the best fill in.

Why isn't there a Nirvana tour with J in the band? This needs to happen.

Only thing missing is Kurt's blood-curdling scream...but I still got the shivers, almost as if I'd just seen a ghost.

Im a 90s kid ... i loved dinosaur jr and nirvana back then ... was NOT aware of this performance until now ... and WOW , its jawdropping , was not expecting J mascis to fill Kurts shoes the way he did , is at the point where Nirvana could reunite with J mascis as a front man and that would not be much of a step down from the original band if any , like others here have pointed out ..... , i was not expecting this and i dont think anyone else would do Kurt justice like this and blow new life into Nirvana the way J mascis does here.... im amazed ! Jawdropping !

Amazed at how similar J. Mascis sounds like Kurt Cobain. I never would have thought this listening to his other music, and I've been buying his stuff since 1993. No wonder Kurt Cobain said he wanted Mascis in the band. They could certainly rejoin with him as the singer.

They should do a Nirvana reunion with J. This is so f*ckin' good. It's weird how J's voice fits Kurt's songs. Never heard anybody do them justice until now, and J is not even famous for being able to scream or get anywhere near does high notes that Kurt reached.
