I'm an east coast guy that has been boarding for years, but with limited number of days each season due to location. I've really learned a lot from watching and listening to you and TJ and my son has too. Really appreciate what you guys do!
huge fan of the channel, watched all your vids, but just a suggestion - can we have more follow cams please! not sure about everyone else but im not really digging the POV footage. The follow cam allows us to look at the snowboarder as a whole so we can learn their form and it also captures the surrounding environment better. Plus the follow cams look way less amateur and more professional. Just my 2 cents. Cheers!
Sick first day guys! Tj’s tree run when he’s following Kevin was dope. Great still frames. Excited to see the other boards and riders. Fire content to come 🤙🏼
After there's been some fresh snowfall, head to Hanazono side of the mountain. They've got some epic powder tree runs leading down from the top of the Hana 1 lift 🤙
@@jacobj1517 You have to go to lapland if you want to ski/snowboard in Finland (Levi, Ylläs or Ruka - depending on your level and what you are looking for)
It would be cool if you like showed on a map or something where you are going before going for a route. The footage is sooo sick but somehow it says less when we dont know where u guys are going. Keep it up man hope you read this!
I have the map next to me and pause when they name the area or run. Also www.quickdrawpublications.com/product/advancedexpert-ski-and-snowboard-guide-to-whistler-blackcomb-2nd-edition/ is a huuuuge help!
Nice! Although it’s not gonna snow much this week. Hike up mt yotei that fat volcano if you can you’ll find fresh limes! I hope to find you guys in the miharashi trees!
You guys went to Japan too early, only 580cm snowfall in Niseko so far. You should also check Rusutsu 30mins from Niseko where there are less restrictions for off-piste powder.
GENTEMSTICK.. Kevin and TJ. I know you guys like your orca and libtech boards, but can you try out the gentemstick which was designed and made in niseko (there’s a store and plenty of places to try them out) and give an evaluation? Thanks!
Going to Sugar Mountain NC tomorrow! Praying it snows instead of this wintry mix! It has been in the teens there for days now so the resort has been blowing snow so it should be okay.
Yeah, been a little sunny lately so not much powder so I've been practicing my carves, boxes and switch riding. Found a little pow in the trees in some areas but definitely wasn't as good as it was maybe just a week ago
I lived in Niseko!!( I’m going back soon) You should traverse from Moiwa towards Annupuri. My dad is a backcountry guide and knows some pretty good powder area 😸
SnowboardProCamp Nice! we were there last season. Two hole weeks and over 200cm snow fall that period. All most every day was reset tracks. After pow day, there is good buffet left side of condola! Near that seat lift
@@SnowboardProCamp been following for awhile, and now subscribed for just responding to my first comment. You guys always have fun and put out great information! Shout out from Banks Oregon...
Hi Guys! You´re doing a great job with Your videos always feel inspired and eager to go riding after watching them. Keep it up! Also, What size Kazu are You riding TJ? Have fun in Japan!
@snowboardprocamp Hi Kevin! Would you please give me some advice. I planned my trip to Niseko completely for February 2020. 1 week in the snow Have all gear except the board. Sold my old one because it was ancient. I'm thinking to purchase a Gnu Space Case 2019 156 and ship it to UAE (where I live) ,then bring it all the way to Niseko and back. Would that enable me to have more fun and progress faster than renting a board from Niseko ski shops? Are you aware if they have pro model boards to rent there and around how much? I can see you guys brought your boards all the way so it must be worth it. Thanks!
Hi guys , should have been there this week myself but had a bit of a tumble off my mtb between christmas and new year and busted my collarbone in a couple of places , had it plated last week so hopefully might just catch a bit of the end of the season back here in Europe , got a friend working over there who might be able to hook you guys up with some sneaky local tracks , if your interested let me know and i'll send you his contact details. Keep up the good work guys. X
Is that 99 times on camera bo? Haha Can you do a vid on pow riding and why you pump your rear leg please kev? It would be good to know before i venture out into cold wide world of pow
I wish I could try snowboarding but why are the boards so expensive it sucks! I don’t money to get a board and plus the ski hill is 30mins away and I can’t drive. Anyone know where you can get boards for not a lot of money? There’s this one snowboard shop by me and the snowboards are 300-600$ let me know if I should get one from a certain place or buy a used one or something. thanks
Scoobz for shell pants, try thicker thermal tights like Nike pro combat or Under armour winter running tights. For insulated pants, try thinner tights, same brands, but 3/4 length. That’s what i do and I’ve never had issues getting cold or wet. Works 100% for me.
Scoobz i don’t know how thick they are but yeah those would probably work fine. You might catch a draft on really cold days, but i think those will do the trick.
tsm_painn assuming you ride regular, try pushing your shins into the front/tongues of your boots and gradually turning your head and chest to face uphill. Keep your backhand over the tail of your board. those tips helped me when learning.
