Thanks for shelling out some dough to bring us these reviews Nate. Sounds like the only winners from this X drop to your tastes were Ani X, and Fan Your Flames X. Hacivat X sounds like a disappointment seems like they just toned down the Oakmoss a bit, but instead stuffed it with dense Woods accords.. my problem with the Original was after the beautiful opening I just got this dense Ashtray like accord from all the Oakmoss so I was hoping to get a version that keeps the ligher, bright opening into the mid with more fruits, and florals and maybe soft woods and musk in the base to not overpower the top notes so much. Also I know I'm in the minority but Wulong Cha the Original for me is like a stay at home sick day, rainy day, Cool Fall weather fragrance. When I smell it I just get a scent memory of drinking Steaming Hot Ginger Tea, with honey added in.. and it makes makes me think of just laying in bed all day sick, with a sore throat lmao.

Yep, hit it right on the nail! Wulong is just an amazing freshy and I think the x version removes that and adds a bunch of wood. Kind of defeats the purpose I think.

I think Wulong Cha was one of my favorites of the Xs. I’m truly on the fence with it. I liked the original and I love tea fragrances and wood fragrances, but I’m not sure if it’s full bottle worthy yet.

Hope the new fan your flames x is better cause the OG one smells good at first but drys down n smells like dirty piss… Ani x is freaking phenomenal.. much much better the then original def still fall/winter scent but can get compliments on cool summer nights. I will have a bottle of Ani x
