I always really liked these. I think the CHADEMO charger was the biggest fault with it. It’s basic, comfortable and it looks nice. It’s not flashy and does exactly what it was designed to do. The universal consensus on it seems to be its range is not good and it’s hard to charge if you rely on CHADEMO but otherwise it’s pretty solid for what you’re paying for.
Until the charging situation improves significantly, I see very slow growth in the EV market. Recently I wanted to rent an EV to go from Miami to Disney, found almost no place to charge there, only in hotels and Tesla stations.
