Bought a nissan note from ibra a few months ago and it has never had problems 💯

Normally. I hear nissans are wack but I can say that by God's grace, I will start my life with this one.

Glad that you guys are finally warming up to the hybrid and electric car manenos. You cannot eliminate battery degradation, but you can significantly improve longevity by ensuring they are well serviced - always clean the cooling fans/filters if present. Overheating is by far the leading cause of Li-ion battery failure

the battery for the note is 1/20th the size of the leaf and is actually just a large capacitor. The engine can in fact power the inverter directly by passing the battery under significant load. apparently in Japan Nissan have a 10 yr warranty on batteries so i wouldn't worry too much about what you guys talked about. Also you correctly called it a series hybrid on one occasion but several times said it's not a hybrid. Well, it is a hybrid despite the contradictions. Otherwise job well done.

Interesting little car. Would have loved you guys to cover more about maintenance of this car since it doesn't really have a true engine or gear box.

a close friend of mine just bought this nissan note e-power and turns out when we were going for a test the other day a distance of 200+ km drive, he mentioned the various channels he watched to syk his urge. turns out you got to us both. though mine was majorly on the toyota sienta. amazing stuff

Wokabi thanks for such an insightful review, was torn between honda fit 1300cc non-hybrid and this nissan e power but now I''m convinced this is the real deal, I didn't even know this drive train can be replaced with a gear box in case you don't wish to replace the primary battery, only wished you highlighted the approximate cost of installing a gear box.

very nice car. Bado tu nissan ni nissan. Problem with nissan kwa electric cars ni kwamba they dont build their battery packs with active cooling. They leave their batteries to the mercy of air cooling when others are doing liquid cooling. This leads to shorter lifespan for their batteries. By the way the statement CK has used severally, "nissan are good with electric cars" is not very true. There are better manufacturers of EVs. Tesla is the ultimate pace setter overal in EVs. However we have to give credit to nissan for being one of the pioneers in the EV industry. The rain started beating them with the failure to innovate in terms of battery thermal management. Battery prices have really gone down. Getting another engine and a gear box will and doing the conversation will be much more expensive than battery replacement

Im not a sub guy but id like to know 0-200 coz we also check the torque against horsepower..(1/4 mile) coz racing also involves lots of other things apart from 0-100..

its because there is no way you can produce any power storage without man power and its takes its toll on a body of any human thats why they are contracted only and have a life changing effects and make it harder for the battery maker not to take care of them in the future . However since electric vehicles have started this is the only opportune time for Africa will build an innovative design in industrial industry with a low capital its time for us to act

now wish toyota would bring a fielder or axio with a similar electric and engine setup. am sure it would sell like crazy in our kenyan market
