NISSAN RE4R01A VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY | TORQUE SPECS 

I was just curious. I have this trans in a 2002 Nissan frontier 2.4L 4 inline rear wheel XE cab. The trans is hard to shift into D when winter cold. I have to warm the car up for 15-25 min just to get D to work. As an alternative, I can wait about 10-15 and shift to 1/2 and then D after some time. What could be the cause? Low or old fluid?
