+Jazalyn Knight Thank you for the inquiry! You are absolutely correct; the factory original version of this item is a bolt on cap and is taken off by unscrewing those bolts. To install the replica, you would take the factory one off like normal and install the pop on one carefully with a rubber mallet or our hubcap tool. I have included the link below so you can read the instructions and also watch the video where we install a pop on hubcap. Hopefully this helps! And remember, if you're local to our Chino, CA location, we'd be happy to install it for you at no extra charge! www.hubcaps.org/videos/install-hubcaps.html www.hubcaps.org/videos/hubcap-tool.html Have a great day! -The Hubcaps.com Team
Thank you! I actually have the screw on ones with the fake bolts (replica). But the factory original ones on my car currently has the bolt included. So will I need to place the bolts back on first then pop the fake ones on? Thanks
+Jazalyn Knight If you have our replica, which is here: www.hubcaps.org/53073options.html You don't have to remove the fake lugs, the only thing you have to worry about is aligning the valve stem hole on the cap with the valve stem on your tire. The fake lugs on our replica have the clearance to pop on regardless of the lugs on your tire. Hopefully this is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions :) -The Hubcaps.com Team
