New serena driver here. 16km/L is quite bad tbh. I am getting 19km/L or better consistently with 70% city / 30% highway. It really depends on how heavy footed you are.

And yes, I agree, there's no comparison even with Conti 7-seater MPVs/SUVs. This is the best combination of comfort + power, efficiency, and space in its class.
Compared to it's competitors (spada, noah/voxy), the cons are petrol consumption loses to the Toyotas, parts are more more expensive. Reliability of the car not as good. Else all are better. Imo.
Great review! What about ths reverse cam screen? If I remember correctly, it was a small screen; I hope with the new dashboard, this has been improved! One other thing; not sure when this video was taken but the other AD mid-size MPV in SG market is Maxus Mifa7 when this video was released.
for jap cars i prefer PI to AD. AD's premium is so much higher and most of the time made in other countries like thai or indo whereas PI cars are made in jap
