Imagine how excited I was to find out I was going to drive a Nissan Skyline. I found out later that it isn't a GTR, but I was still thrilled because, at the end of the day, the similarities are there, and I will still get that RB25DETT experience. In this case, we are talking about the RB25DETT Neo engine.
Nissan Skyline GTT stats:
RB25DETT Neo
Inline 6 Cylinder
2.5-liter Biturbo
280hp and 362Nm
It was just as everybody says, the real JDM and forbidden fruit. It was absolutely insane.

I think I'd prefer the RWD over AWD. Just a different personality. It's not always about 0-60 times but rather touring and just having fun

AWD in the GTR is controlled by a computer, it’s not a constant 4WD. With the GTR you have more power and much more control.

Same… idk why everyone put the awd gtr on a pedestal… It’s so overrated as a status symbol and because of the rb26… the GTT is lighter and more fun.

@@bandarnaif5926 Depends on how much money you have, I've just had my R34 GTT major serviced as it hasn't been roadworthy for 2 years and came back at just under $5000 AUD (Retune, New MAF, Sparkplugs, Brakepads, Tyres etc) and I get about 400km/tank of 98 Ultimate. I drove this vehicle daily for a solid 3 years about 80km a day so I've racked out a heap of kliometers currently sitting around 230k on the odometer.

Somewhat daily but with often and constant work just like any other automobile however they all differ in how often that maintenance is required, this is a nissan product quality will not be low like most people say but to each their own @bandarnaif5926

You can't say it's basically a gtr with rwd. The gtr has a kind of different front suspension. If you drove both, you can quickly tell in terms of driving feel they have almost nothing in common.

Disagree. I’ve owned both and what you’ll find is they handle similarly apart from the GTR understeers a bit when pushed and the opposite for the GTT. But the reality is that the GTR is made for someone who isn’t very good at driving fast. There’s a lot there to help you be a legend. You have to be a good driver for the GTT. It’s not going to save you when you run out of talent.

I'm sorry but that's just wrong . While GTRs 4wheel steering is controversial , RB26 engine +gearbox combination is definitely better as well as front suspension on the gtr

Maybe but then are people who just want it because they can’t see past Fast and Furious. The GTT is a very capable car. The GTR is made for the common man who wants to drive fast but has limited talent.

The RB25NEO is better than the RB26 up till 600HP. The 26 is old technology compared to the 25NEO

Owner should remove the gtr badging. No matter what he/she does it will never be gtr since it comes down to the chassis number.

If you cant afford a Gtr, dont be a guy that does upbadging a car what isn from factory. Its like 330i with an M3 badge or a s500 with an s63 amg badge just no. Dont fool/frau the people. Its like a trashtalker. Nobody likes them. If you Do it, convert it full, with everything. Awd, 2.6Rb Twinturbo, Exterieur, Interieur. The cost from that are that high you can buy a Real Gtr for the same money 😂 But the Chassis will never be a original Gtr (Godzilla).
