Nissan X Trail cabin air filter change, T31, 2010, 2011, 2012.

Thanks for your video! I recently changed the air con blower motor in my t31 and thanks to you I've just realised it's right next to the cabin filter in that nook. Wish I'd had a bit more of a poke around and found that filter while I was in there lol

Thank you so much. Just had my car serviced and they wanted to charge me over $80 to replace this filter. After watching this video, it only took me about 1 1/2 mins to pop off the side panel from the consol , take off the cover and pull out the filter. Now to find the air filter!

Thanks. I also was having fun locating it. I pulled off the kick plate and you can get to it right at the back. There are 2 sizes of filter for T31 264x190x20 Ryco pn RCA188P or 222x199x30 pn RCA113P.

Finally, found the almost correct one. This one also counts for a x-trail diesel 2007. Remark: the filter is at the same place...left and right hand steering. The left hand steering the filter is besides the accelerator. Right hand steering indeed it's behind the glovesbox

Thank you I was tossing up to do this myself but I think Ill just pay to get it changed and cleaned out. Bit of a mould smell coming through with all the rain so Ill get the pray as well hopefully that will sort it out. Thank you.

You can leave the glovebox in and just take out the kick panel on the side.

The filter is squashed up because that's the only way the Nissan service replaces them without taking the extra time to take out the glove box. You have to force them in and squeeze the edges together to get the angle to put it in.
