they are great wheels and i wash mine daily as my robo's like yours wee on them . i am obsessed with not getting water on the bearing that i use spray bottles , i have one with a washing up liquid diluted inside , another with hamster safe cleaner and lastly a one containing water to rinse . i am a bit clumsy using the sink so i find the spray bottles ideal for me .i use cloths to dry mine as with the toys all the cloths are colour coded so i use the correct one to dry each wheel ,[ flannels / wash cloths ]

@@RachelGotHamsters the colour coded cloths are just different coloured flannels i bought at a local store .

Those wheels are soooo expensive where i live (60-70$) more for the bigger... Anything niteangel its so expensive its unfortunate

I’m super curious to try the Rodipet wheels, they are slanted at an angle which they claim stops hamsters flipping in their wheel which is a big issue with robos. But since I have no reason to buy a new wheel, idk how true this is. If any robo owners have it I’d love to know your experience

I’m also curious! Rodipet is not available in the US (to my knowledge!) so I haven’t had a chance to try any of their wheels

They are great wheels but unfortunately long tailed rodents “mice,gerbils,rats can get their tails severed. *remove the bearing cap long tail owners!!*

Oh THANK YOU for that call out! I should have included that, although as someone who has never had tailed rodents I wasn’t sure exactly what the deal was - so you just have to remove the center “button” ? Are there any wheels you can’t do that with? I think all of mine have that ability… 🤔 (I have wheels from Niteangel, Bucatstate & Tafit pet)
