The Nitecore MH12 Pro rechargeable flashlight is incredibly bright yet still compact enough to serve as a duty light to carry every day. With its innovative UHi 40 LED from NiteLab, the MH12 Pro boasts a 3300 lumen output and a 552 yard throw, farther than 4 football fields length added together. You'll be well-prepared for any situation with its five brightness levels, as well as strobe, beacon, and SOS modes. The MH12 Pro features a Tactical Mode with five lighting settings and strobe, while the Daily Mode offers the same settings plus a Beacon and SOS mode. Level indicators beside the mode button will help you identify the current brightness level. Moreover, the MH12 Pro includes a built-in optical sensor that automatically reduces brightness when it detects an obstruction at close range to prevent blinding reflection or overheating.
USB-C Rechargeable
The MH12 Pro comes with a high-capacity 5300mAh battery and can be rapidly charged through its built-in USB-C port. Power indicators next to the mode button display the remaining battery level. Once fully charged, the MH12 Pro can achieve a maximum runtime of over 650 hours on its lowest mode.

The Teal tint is unforgivable, makes the SFT70 look neutral.

_I'll just say it... the SFT70 IS rather neutral! (unless your a high CRI addict)._ _The SFT line of LED's is nearly as good as it gets for tint in this style/chassis/light application!_ *_That being said.. the greenish-teal tint here is absolutely overwhelming.. I cannot wait to see the .2 version of this!_*

I said it before, I'll say it now... Nitecore advertises 1200 lumens for 4.5 hours on turbo, but in reality it is less than 700 lumens for about 2 hours and 15 minutes, after step down from 1200, which lasts half an hour. Plus an additional 15 minutes around 300 lumens and 45 minutes between 100 and 150 lumens. In total about 3 hours 43 minutes.

I love mine. Been carrying it daily for almost a year. The finish is holding up very well. I really like the UI. My only real gripes are it's just slightly bigger than what I consider an ideal size for daily carrying. And the gripping surface can be hard on the hands. And I don't find mine has an overly terrible green hue to it. Overall I really love this light.

Good looking light but why does everything Nitecore make have an ugly green or blue led in it? Some warmer options would be nice.
@rayoflight62
@rayoflight62 8 месяцев назад
If Nitecore use warmer tints of LED, they will get complaint of their flashlights being too dim. A warm tinted LED, say 5000 °K, will have 15% less lumens of a blueish/greenish LED, but HALF of the candelas. As the market is after the highest flux and illumination numbers, they have no choice with the type of LED utilised in their lights...
@boo5ted99

From a lighting point of view, the MH12 Pro has two problems: the energy in the side spill is excessive with respect to the energy emitted in the hotspot; this reduces the contrast of distant objects. Also, the knurling on the body of the flashlight is also excessive, as it damages the clothes when you clip the light on them. That knurling is perfect in case you wear tactical gloves, though...
@Spolt_main
@Spolt_main 6 месяцев назад
Haven't had either of these issues honestly, the spill/throw balance is honestly perfect for a dual purpose light. The actual issue with this light is the false advertising saying it holds 1,200 lumens for 4.5 hours, when it's actually a 600 lumen light for like 4 hours of that.

Thanks for the effort making this video 👍. I have the MH12 Pro and the MH12 SE and honestly I prefer the MH12 SE. The 100 meter further throw and the 1500 lumens more of the Pro are nice on paper, but don't mean much in the real world. The beam of the SE is more focused and the color is perfect neutral white while the beam of the Pro is wider along with the greenish/yellowish tint it simply don't deliver more based on my experience. But much more important is that the Pro steps down quickly from 3300 lumens to 1200 after about 20 seconds, while the SE holds its 1800 lumens for about 2 minutes which is far more practical. Granted, the Pro can (wobbling) tail stand and the side switch and LED rows left and right are definitely an improvement over the SE. But that is simply not enough to dethrone the SE and whenever I tend to grab a long throwing compact light, the SE is my first choice.

A lot of people think the Pro would have been the light of the year if it wasn't for the unfeasibly green tint!
@LV-42617
@LV-42617 8 месяцев назад
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I think Nitecore will get the tint (and hopefully the heat management as well) right with the next version. The MH12 Pro is still an excellent light and if one do not have already a similar light it certainly is worth considering. But the Pro is also the hard proof, that newer doesn't always mean better.

The green hue is a consequence of using a LED bin with absolute top efficiency (Lumen / Watt). A perfectly cyan tinted LED could lose up to 1000 lumen from the top 3300 lumen emitted by the MH12 Pro. On CPF, when the Luxeon and Seoul P4 first appeared, we used to say of green tinted LED - offensively - to be of a "pee green" colour. No flashaholic likes a greenish LED bin; but we understand that it is the price to pay for top Lumens...
