Poor auditing or auditing process by CAG. CAG could have asked for clarification or explanation from the concerned ministry and then submitted the corrected final audit report rather than hastily submitting an incorrect report. Shows CAG in poor light and their immaturity on the subject.

According to the latest CAG report, In Dwarka expressway on KM road was built at 250 Crore per Km. When the government engineers had estimated, it would cost only 18.3 crores. 75000 km of road under Bharat Mala has been made at 25 crore per Km when the same was only 10 crore. A SCAM of 7,50,000 crores.

Nitin ji, US ki infrastructure ki halat khas achha nahin hai. So, US is not the right parameter to measure against. The other point that needs correction is that in most European countries, long distance buses still run on diesel and not on electricity yet.

he did say that CAG took total road built to be as 29km when actually it was 230 km because they missed the tunnel, support roads and interchanges hence the per km number came out to be 250 in their calculation which is wrong.
