Bro thank you for sharing your knowledge I just learned more about ported motors, clutches, shoes, springs and bells in 17 minutes then I have in the past 6 months 💪⛽️👍😎
you probably dont care but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Paxton Zayd thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Man this guy has the baddest info videos on this stuff im new and doing my first roma .25 install and this info is top notch Keep em coming From Texas👌✌
always a pleasure to watch and learn from you, I have the buku clutch that uses grub scews to adjust each of the 3 shoes, I haven't messed with it tho. It came on my associated buggy and truggy that I bought used from a pro driver so i have just left them alone. It's just really crazy the amount of tuning options out there.
I never use the buku clutch system but I've heard great things about it, that's nice you can adjust each shoe on that 3 shoe. You are right there is tons of tuning options and I try to do all if i can...lol, Thanks for the support broth, I truly appreciated it
I really like centrally sprung clutches, they are similar to centax clutches but for off road. A single spring around the crank with a nut to adjust tension on the shoes. I have a couple Orion crf v6 6-shoe clutches, and a werks power clutch 4-shoe. I have used all of them for years so I know how to set them just how I like. The shoes are expensive but they last a long time.
Another awesome video brotha! Quick question have you had any experience with the factory team clutch since this? Just picked one up and wondering if there’s anything to keep an eye out for or spring rates should be changed from the .95s? I know you can adjust with the set screw but just wondering if .95s on the lowest setting will be soft enough if needed on a super loose/ loamy bumpy track.
I liked the factory clutch, I didn't like the pins that holds the shoes to me was to soft, the base setup is fine, if the track is loose I would try putting in softer springs on the alum shoes or a steel flywheel, that would calm the car down in the corners
What did u go with? I have the new 32x spec 4.1 and the reds 4 shoe clutch, and i don't like the engagement. Not enough instant power. Have to try all aluminum shoes
Thx for putting up the content my man. What are your thoughts on the Buku clutch? Got a new Nova Bonito and a Tekno 2.0 kit coming in the mail. Ran across those Buku crank case caps that go behind the flywheel and stop dirt from gettin at the front bearing, but looks like they not compatible with my Losi clutch, so I'd have to get the Buku clutch to run em.
I’ve been looking at those bonitos May have to grab one myself, the buke clutch and caps seems ok, I’ve never heard anything bad, I’ve never use them but the caps suppose to protect the front bearing from getting dirt in, I knew a few people at the track with them and they swear by them
Guess its true ? different clutch ( flywheel /collet/bell) for different make like tekno, losi, kyosho ext. I have all three pain changing mtrs just got my first tekno nt48.3 truggy liking it running team Orion mtrs 24 trug./ 21 in buggys watching your videos learning lots..
Thanks brotha, for that setup I would do all alum shoes with either all green springs (losi) (1.0) or all silver springs (losi) (1.1), four shoe clutch will give you more bite, if you going with a 3 shoe, I would do all alum shoes with 1.0 clutch springs and the biggest clutch bell you can get maybe a 15t or 16t
Can you suggest for me what clutch shoe & kinr of clutch set for using in tight, many corner & dirt/dusty/bumpy track?..in my country dont have any indoor track..also dont have blue groove track..but i know i must using 3port engine for track like that..because need low to mid torque..🙏🙏🙏
Thanks brotha, yes it is because drag racing is more top end speed then bottom, the extra ports will give you more top end compared to a 3 or 5 port engine
@@rajaa111 I have to side with Rajaa on this one. Personally i would run a longish manifold or a clutch setup for a lil extra torque cuz youll have the RPM. on a side note torque is the twisting power so torque is what gets the car moving.
My man I am running rc8t3.1 and I’ve burnt 4 Front diff pinion gear and 2 ring gears. I have a new gear box all new diffs to put in. How many shims are you using on the front. The book says one on the gear side and two on the other. That wasn’t working.
Sam Montoya I run 2 shins on the ring side nothing on the other side for the front diff and 3 shims on the rings side nothing on the other side for the rear diff, that’s been perfect for me. You should feel some gear or teeth engagement but not binding
Im bout to up grade i bought that cheap 3 piece cluch from amazon and its the wrong one for the collet that came wit the dynamite.21 but imma take your advice keep up the good videos you be teaching alot thank you
@@rajaa111 thanks i have check it out , you said it right bashing fun but not same as racing or using a groomed track doing diffrent set ups btw it was same riding atvs alot traveling at least thses suckers are small
Thanks, clutch set things is importand, you dont want it broke while you racing or bashing. And dont fotget to thighten the nut as strong as you can, sometimes it playing tricks on you, haaha
Rajaa I need help. What’s your email? Can you PM it to me? I fried a brand new servo. In a brand new car. Trigger pulls activates the steering servo. With nothing from the steering wheel? Help. I just ordered a new servo.
rajaa111 I did and that’s what fried my new servo. I’m running power to ch1,throttle to ch2 and steering to ch3. My receiver has the S-bus option and a fourth channel.
Steering should be on channel 1, throttle should be channel 2 and power should on s bus, what receiver pack are you running? and what kind of receiver is it?
rajaa111 ok just changed up the settings to what you suggested. And bingo . That was the problem. Wish I knew this before I fried the servo. This radio/receiver is a little more advanced than what I ran before. The S-bus feature is completely new to me.
