@@theoldmansgarage man you got so much soul in you, I’m a brutha and I catch some of the lingo you use and I’m like Dad is a well connected man! Then I seen you praying for your kids in line this guy is amazing
Seen a lot of things in our days, done a lot of odd stuff to go racing, have NEVER seen someone steal spark plugs out of a lawn tractor to get get their race car up and running then go out and kick some ass. Lol you Sir have reached a whole new accomplishment level!
Everyone who follows SRC channels knew this was going to happen. You guys grind until you get it!! Go fast and be safe. God bless you and your family and friends.
It’s good to see a channel making content at 2 completely opposite ends of drag racing 1500hp plus drag cars then getting down with tidy 600hp old school street cars it’s a pleasure to watch. Street car stuff is funny as hell keep the content rolling
Just think of how much RU-vid makes with them taking 70% + running ads on unmonetized channels like mine = 100% profit. I wish all these racing channels would move over to Rumble where they pay you from the first video you upload once you start getting views.
One great thing about street racing is you don’t have to wait for the weekend. Watching the “slow” car buildups and races is great entertainment. You guys are so real!
@@johnwilliamson8835 I had a few factory 5.0 foxes back in the day, never modified other than exhaust. The one with exhaust barely made it into the 13s at the high school drags...I feel like quite a bit of modifying and tuning would be needed to get into he 10s. A white hatch was my dream car back then, not I just can't bring myself to get one with them being everywhere, would rather have something that is somewhat unique. I guess Billy's is unique because the color and being a manual, and still having a 5.0 pushrod engine.
Really loving the street car content, more of a playing field for the average guys like myself. Wife/kids etc I can’t go balls out on a small tire car but I could run with that group. Love the truck/falcon and nova but these cars are a lot more relatable to a wider audience. Great work guys, keep it up.
Took plugs out of the lawn tractor to go take care of business 😂 Love it guys. Seriously tho who else has content that is entertaining, informative, and funny all in one?
I raced a canyon red 86 GT on spray every weekend on the streets of Philly in the late 80's to the early 90's. Loved that car. Keep at it Billy...brings back a lot of great memories. 🤪🏁🏁🏁
This has been some of the best content you guys have had, and that’s saying A LOT!! Keep up the good work, you have that Mustang absolutely hauling the mail 💪😎
Good stuff, Billy n Tommy 👍 I recall seeing clips of Bob Glidden when they’d interview him at the track. Admired this guy for years. I draw a parallel when I see Billy. He’s getting feet wet in tuning 4 & driving 3 different vehicles. This stick shift, when it bites right, is the fastest to B (from A)
Love watching you go at it with your dad racing. I used to do that with my dad and he would buy stuff and go faster. Just found out yesterday that after a few years of not seeing or talking to him that he is on his death bed and I went to see him which broke my heart seeing him laying there on a breathing machine. At least I got to talk to him for a few mins before I broke down in tears. Been feeling so sad since seeing him laying there and my mom was glad to see me as well. Cherish every moment you have with you parents before they are gone.
So try on that bro gotta cherish n love them while there still here to see n feel it n to give them there flowers for raising u to be the good man u are today. I know all about it bcuz I lost both my mom n dad n my dad 3yr since his passing was on the 25 of Sept n my B-day is on the 28 of Sept so around this time I'm all messd up about it all just thinkn bout my dad. Just a messd up timing for my B-day tryn to be happy but can't ncux always think nouty Dad
Well at least you got to bury the hatchet so to speak! I had heard that my father was sick and never reached out, saying to myself that if he wanted to get in touch with me, he knows how to find me. Now he's dead and I still have questions, only saw him for 2.5 day's when I was 12ish. Now I'm a grandfather who's 50 and have no answered questions!..God bless 🙏...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇲🤠
These boys have racing in their blood. The mustang started out as a street car but is quickly becoming a race car. They can’t leave anything alone. They have to make everything faster and faster. I love the content
Billy, you're on the path to doin stuff like Tony did some years back beatin up on cars that have double the power gapping them on the launch and slamming gears. If you don't get to it soon I'm sure Tony will be at it again bringing back them good ol days 🤣
20:16 *_THAT SMILE IS PURE GOLD_* LOVE THIS MOMENT!!! You're getting to the old man Billy. The reverse head games, you can see its eating him. Stay consistent Kid. You're gonna run him right over!!!
Little 302 getting down !! I'm impressed 💯💯 !! Even gutted that Challenger is still 4k I would bet!! He definitely needs to find a nice power adder!! NX, Turbskies, Super Charger, something.. Don't get me wrong, it was a sharp looking car. And those Hemi's can make some big power. But they aren't set up for dig racing!! To fckn heavy!! Roll racing they seem to work well. Just can't get that fat girl rolling on the 1/8 !!! Looked like it was making some power around 1000ft but Billy was long gone !! Hell it was over by the 330 !! Good Sh×t tho!! Those kids are just getting into it, so they have alot to learn!! And they will !! Lesson #1 was tonight (last night) I know. SRCTTF 🏁🇺🇸🏁
Great job Billy and Old Man!! Another one bites the dust!!!! Great video action!!! Can't wait to see the new improvements on Malibu and the rematch with the mus rat!!!
Freaking loving watching this stick Mustang busting everybody's tail! Billy is driving the heck out of that car just floating through them the gears! Ole car sounds really good 👍🏻🏆💯
Billy, why don't you guys clean your plugs? We bead-blast them and they're good as new once we re-gap them. Figured your Dad would be doing this from early on. At least you would have spares in the trailer when needed. P.S. The plugs I'm cleaning are $35-55 a piece (welcome to aircraft) but the same holds true for cars.
You guy's say a prayer for us. The Search and Rescue K-9's and I are deploying in 5 hours from West Palm Beach, to the Emergency Operations Center in Lee County, Fort Myers, Florida to rescue folk's, and lend a hand in EMCOMM for the region. (Emergency Communications). In case something happens to us. I just want to take a moment and say; When my life got turned upside down in Hawai'i. And we traveled all the way from Hawai'i to meet the Hoskinson Family at National Trails for NPK. All of you treated me and my two turd barrels great. It was amazing to meet, and be a part of that epic weekend of racing !!! I am a fan for life. Y'all are in real life, just like you are on film. The real deal. If we make it through this ordeal. I look forward to shaking your hands again, having a few laughs again, and watching your Family win. Thank you for being good to us. Aloha...\ooo/
I know it's just for fun with legit street cars but as fast as these things are already I'd think about some sort of rollbar at the very least. There's a ton of options for cheap bolt in kits for Mustangs or just make your own. You definitely have the skills to throw together a nice one. I have a 24 year old son so I know that your dad would probably appreciate it.
car running damn good. I'm mind blown it hooks that good on a 26" tire and that don't usually happen with a stick foxbody with some power. That combo you have is capable of mid to low 10's on a prepped track. my buddy had same exact setup and he got into the 9's eventually when he sprayed 200-250 on it
Love seeing the mustang with Ford drivetrain choppin heads off. You’re very fortunate in many ways but the most important thing is you got a good family, Just don’t forget what made it all happen and show your dad some love bro
Bro lawd hav mercy!! Yall are real dudes doing it B.I.Gezzy!!! Frfr. Yall keep it 1hunnid !! You your bro and pops!! I been following yall journey for 4months I jus hit the sub👍🏾🏁💨💨💨💯💯💯
Good job Billy. learning what it feels like. Much more satisfying winning banging gears. Nice to see you driving the car. Opposed to letting go of a button holding on hoping it goes straight.✌❤😃
Billy and his dad have reminded me of how my relationship with my dad was in my 20's....he was my best friend and I drove him crazy growing up...the Hoskinson family have the top 3 channels on YT
My nephew has an '05 Mustang that's had a 5.3l big bore stroker short block with the factory 3v heads(no typo; 5.3l 3v Modular) dropped in, forged, Ford Racing iron block, pair of cams, Dept of Boost blower kit with '07 GT500 blower - I keep telling him he needs to get his shit together and start taking it to some real street car races! It's a lil bit of an underachiever at the moment, all of that engine and it only dynoed about 500 at the wheels; but it's being held back a LOT by the GT500 blower(desperately needs a decent sized TVS or twin screw), the GT500 intercooler components also can't keep up, and that stock 3650 isn't going to cut it much beyond this power level, she's gonna need a T56 Mag ASAP(making heavy cars fast is expensive man...). But still a full interior cruiser & road trip car, drives like stock, can't even tell it has a blown big bore stroker until you get on it, it's a cool package. Relatively unique for a Mustang too, being blown 5.3l 3v(most won't waste that kinda money on a damn 3v lmao, previous owner did though) stick street/strip car; my nephew loves screwing with people, making them think it's an LS swap until he pops the hood lol. Haven't scaled it yet, but an S197 chassis, iron block, blower+intercooler, she's porky, at least 3800lbs I'm sure. Great base for a street racer though! Shout out to these dudes for having the gonads to build an NA G3 hemi to race, especially putting it in that porker Challenger chassis. Bet that big one SOB weighs pretty close to my nephew's full weight S197 LOL. Would have liked to have seen a heads up NA race, I bet that would be a pretty good match up - piggy Challenger with a built G3 hemi vs a lightweight Fox body with an H/C/I 5.0l (BTW, you should totally still look into a ClutchTamer, they're awesome for stick cars)
Good to b back to real street racing! I dont have the balls to call a 10 sec car, slow car stuff, cuz thats fast car stuff to me! Lol. Keep it up fella's. Best content yet from all of ya! Been a fan from the start!
Well I reckon I'm getting old for sure or have lost my mind . I just sold my Chevelle and bought a 5.7 HEMI challenger 6 speed manual. Drove one and fell in love with it. 2011 43.000 miles never drove a muscle car so sweet all the way round. Not the fastest but sure fun n comfortable.
Got that lil Fox hookin and bookin now! I have been seeing something that could develop into an issue in the Fox very soon though... Billy's seat looks like its about to be ripped out of the boltholes on every shift! May want to check them seat mounts out, perhaps reinforce them before Billy winds up driving from the back seat one of these days! 🤣 Great to see everyone having a good time, this 'slow car' stuff makes for excellent content IMO. 👍💯😎🏁
Am I the only one who sees Paul Walker in billy when he’s smirking at the old man at 20:20?!? Idk maybe it’s just me. But love the rivalry! When billy threw the front end back on the lawn mower, “good enough” 😂😂😂😂😂 I can already see the old man rolling his eyes 😂😂😂😂
I got interested in no prep because it seemed like something I could afford to be competitive in, then big tire was out of reach, now small tire you can't afford to be competitive in unless you have deep pockets. This right here will always be relatable unless you take it to far.
Thats exactly something my son would do... take parts of something of mine that runs fine for me to find out about when it does not start just like Billy did with your lawn tractor!
hellyeah, now thats a video!! Better upgrade that rear to some 31 spline axles, or better yet, just get a bolt in 9 and save ya the time and aggravation to put c-clip elimintor kit and brace 8.8. Watch out Old Man, next thing you know it Billy will be sneaking a 351 between them shock towers while ya not looking :O
