Underrated by whom ? Urk sold when it came out in the Netherlands 100.000 units which is a lot for a 3lp

I lost track of them some time after their 'Alankomaat' album, probably also because it wouldn't be long before I'd move from Germany to NZ, and they're completely unknown here. I own all albums up to that one, though. Saw them live in concert only once, after 'Ting' was released and at the 'Rheinkultur Festival' in Bonn, and they were great! 🤩

Me, too! 🙂 Came across it in the mid 90's when browsing a store, and a bit later I also bought the 'Urk' double album 🙂 I bought a second copy half a year later and gave it to a 'love interest' - and she returned it 😒

Sorry to hear about the ‘love interest’ ;-) The double cd was one of the first cds I bought for the Phillips portable CD player I acquired in 1989 with my first paycheck. And I bought the VHS tape a few weeks after leaving the family home and settling in my first appartment…

Urk is a small town in Holland. It is known for its fishing fleet and its ‘Old Faithful’ Protestant Community.
