Nivek Ogre of Skinny Puppy [1 of 2] 

I got to meet Ogre at the Double in Chicago and thank him for years of life enhancing music. He's such a nice and simple guy, very approachable.

I'm sorry, Ogre is possibly the most awesome artist, and just regulare dude ever!! One of the best bands!!

Whenever you are in Charlotte N.C. Ogre and you'd like to use a walker, I'll let you use mine! It has an attached seat on it, for which I am making a padded cushion to attach to it. Yeah, I actually do need it to walk, but I have a spare, crappier walker just in case the good one breaks! Lol All true though btw. Humor aside; excellent interview here where Ogre reveals some of the facets of who he is as a human being, not just the artist, but the why he does what he does with his costuming onstage and the inspiration behind it; proving that Ogre and Skinny Puppy aren't "controversial" just to be controversial but because they think about and see the darker, true face of society and want to get us to see it too because you can't or won't change what you don't see or acknowledge. We have to unite together as a species to change our societies, but first, we have to revolutionize ourselves, THEN We Can ReVoLuTiOnIzE ThE WoRlD!!

He's no longer a user. I agree with transpondency - a mixture of exhaustion and adrenalin, accompanied by poor lighting conditions. But I think Ohgr was just being himself!

Fairly dead. EBM is alive and well, but industrial is not here in L.A. Maybe San Diego or San Francisco is different.

You really think so, wow, what planet do you live on? and spell Ghettos correctly at least if you're gonna pretend you know what that even means. Originally used in Venice to describe the area where Jews were compelled to live, a ghetto is now described as a "portion of a city in which members of a minority group live; especially because of social, legal, or economic pressure." Nothing to do with the Left or the Right for that matter, just convenient.
