Hi, thanks of the content request. I'd love to do more mini wing reviews and other videos for you! In his video you see me flying the Roller 16, with a Supair Access Back harness, but I've actually tested the Roller in all 4 sizes - 14, 16, 18 and 20, and the overall review is based on this. It's a fab mini wing, the new Roller 2 is a nice evolution of this.

Can I use a success5 with this wing?

Sure, the Advance Success 5 works well with the Roller (and Roller 2), and probably offers the best protection out there. Pretty much any standard open paragliding harness should be fine. In this video you see me flying with a more basic entry level harness, a Supair Access Bump, which actually works really well for mini wing flying, due to it's simplicity and more upright flying flying. I find that for mini wing flying a more upright flying position is best. Same for speed flying and acro. Great vidio!! Just like looking at the freedom. Just as a matter of interest. When is the best time to lurn for first time. In the south of uk?? Summer? Winter? Spring, fall?

Hi, I most say I am a beginner and have my school training completed and soms short flights with my Sol Attak 16m. I weight 75kg (165lbs) and I want to buy a Roller 20 for flying characteristics between a mini wing and a normal paraglider. Do you think it is doable? I don’t want to do thermal or XC flight. Holidays, hike and fly dune soaring (Holland) and fly easy down a hill, knowing that the speed is a bit higher than a normal glider. I would be grateful with Some thoughts of the more experience paraglider who read this. Thx

Only just seen this. Probably too late for you now, but for others... In brief, I'd recommend the size 18 for your weight, experience and requirements. Although you could fly the size 20, it will be a bit too big. The size 16 is likely to be a bit too sporty, for now, and wouldn't suit your requirements so well. Flybubble Carlo

Meanwhile I bought an Ozone Zero 19sqm and flew with it a couple of times when other fly normal paragliders in the mountains when it was turbulent and thermals. Love to fly the zero than. You could gain some height with it but if you are not in the mood or like me, you don't like the heavy thermals. You fly through it and made some nice flights.

you don't need 6k from day one. Just take some lessons, use the school's gear and take your time to figure out what is best for you. Then you can look out for a better first wing that isnt a slow school wing but a bit more fun.
