They started just like Twice in a Survival Show called Nizi Project. I recommend watching it and you get to see their individual voices and skillsets throughout.
@@BriHeartMusic It was the number one rated show on Hulu Japan almost the entire 2 seasons it was on. It hit at the time of Japanese lockdowns to CV19 so literally the entire nation saw the show on Hulu or on the TV morning show Sukiri. As a note though, the episodes on the official pages are cut versions. This is done because the only official full episode is on Hulu. They have full performances available but they are separate from people just reposing it unofficially from Hulu. But some you as a vocal person you definitely want to see/hear. For individual performances Nina, Mako, Miihi, Rio, Riku, and Maya of standout performances. Ayaka, Mayuka, Rima have very good group performances. Their story really is too long for a good discussion as it would take pages and pages to talk about them.
the first chorus is sang by Mako, the leader, ranked no. 1 overall in singing and dancing. The girl hit a high note before the rap is Nina, she has an amazing high voice. The rappers are Mayuka and Rima. Rima's dad is also a legendary rapper in Japan, Zeebra
there is an entire back story about the formation of this group. 2 full seasons starting from the audition call all over Japan, down to the final 13 from over 10,000 candidates. There is a huge difference about this group from the rest of the K pop girl groups. For one, they are pure Japanese, and they were formed from an audition call, trained on the spot by JYP, selected, then spent 6 months in Korea training at JYP HQ and undergo further elimination, and eventually the final 9 members. Look for "Nizi Project" part 1 and part 2 for the full story. It is the powerful back story that set this group apart, and so many people already started stanning them even before any single was released. It is a beautiful story of humanity and dreams.
They r called NiZu,with the silent "i''..Similar sound to "Need you''. Nizi (means rainbow in Japanese) ,while 'U' stand for the fans. The meaning was explained by JYP himself. “People can never succeed on their own. You all need each other and you need your fans. 😊😊😊
Rap line is Rima and Mayuka in that order in Step and a step. Rima's mom is a model and her dad is a famous rapper who revolutionized rapping in Japanese. However, her parents recently divorced. Rima wrote her own rap in English in her performances in Nizi Project and she is trilingual in English, Japanese and Korean. Mayuka discovered her talent for fast rapping in Season 2 of Nizi Project where she was well liked by fans.
Bri thanks for reacting to niziu🥰 also most of them were just a normal girl with no training and they trained in the show "Nizi Project" for about 2 years
I just wanted to say thank you for your positivity and great reactions Bri!! I always love how talented vocalists like you appreciate vocalists from other cultures!! ✨
Thank you so much for saying that! I always try my best to go beyond just reacting and actually give my perspective as a vocalist, so it always make me happy when viewers find it helpful or insightful. 🤗🎧🎶
A lot of the members are quite young and a lot of them are heavily nasal but I kinda like that because it gives the sound a very cutesy youthful sound to the song
You should definitely watch the Nizi project ( all episode and both seasons are on RU-vid with English subtitles) it will clearly show their evolution and their storyline!
niziu was created from jyp's recent survival program called "nizi project." he held auditions in various cities throughout japan (along with ones in hawaii and la) where girls could come and showcase their talents! out of thousands of girls who auditioned, only 26 of them passed jyp's evaluation and flew to tokyo to participate in a training camp to further improve and showcase their skills. after the camp, 13 of the girls passed the camp and were given the opportunity to fly to korea for serious training, but 1 of the girls had to leave for personal reasons. in korea, the 12 remaining girls underwent 6 months of serious training in order to improve their skills even more. their training helped them practice for stage performances (first a solo evaluation, then the girls were divided into groups to perform various songs) that they had to perform in front of jyp! during this, the girls had pendants with spaces that could be filled by cubes- if the pendant was filled up by the end of the show, then you were guaranteed a spot in the final group. by the end of the show, 9 of the girls had filled up their pendants, making up niziu! (fun fact: out of the nine girls, only 3 of them were jyp trainees! the other 6 were ordinary girls who worked just as hard to achieve their dream!) the girl whose breakdown you liked just before the rap is Nina! she's half japanese/half american, and throughout jyp's nizi project survival show (the show where niziu was formed) she was praised many times for being able to hit high notes very effortlessly! i suggest checking out some of her solo/group performances in nizi project if you're interested in checking out some of her other talents!
@@dp7664 I’m definitely “worldwide” compared to where they are 😂 They live over there in Japan/Korea, meanwhile I’m on the other side of the world in the US 😂
The girl who sets the color of the group was Nina Hillman who is from the state of Washington, she is the main lead vocalist, the other lead vocalist is Miihi the girl that smiled at the end and ran back to the group. She's been away recuperating from illness. The song has become an anthem to her and the fans as Miihi recovers from the extreme conditions that caused her extreme weight loss! The first rapper was Rima who's dad is a popular rapper and her mother is a famous model, she is known for her smooth rhythmic style. The second rapper is Mayuka probably the biggest dark horse in the competition, she is a chameleon that is good at everything! She is known for her rapid fire rap that even she didn't know she could do till the show! Most of the fans watched them form as a group on the Nizi Project which was aired earlier this year. It is available with English subs on a number of sites and just enter "Nizi Project episode 1 season 1 english subs" and you shouldn't have much trouble finding it! It really will emotionally bond you to the girls as they struggle against expectations, confidence, criticism and long hours late into the night. They cry often but get supported by their fellow contestants repeatedly! Lastly, if you haven't seen their predebate MV "make you happy" by all means check it out! It currently has over 180 million hits on RU-vid!
You should react to Nina from this group singing I'll be back by 2pm, she really shows off her ability which is especially impressive since she had no formal training prior to being in the group
This is somehow a sad debut because one of them is not gonna be with them in their promotions and also she didn't participate in their performance in this mv. But Miihi is in this MV. She's the one that they saved in the end of the mv. They are saying that everything is alright and she should take her time. Hopefully in their first comeback she will be in it and fully recovered from her condition
For your info, the refrain part after Maya's verse were sang by Miihi herself. With the exception of Rio's verse near the end, Miihi always continue the refrain for Maya's verse. Maya: Everything will be fine. Miihi: Be fine~ *yes, this is the refrain* Miihi is not in dance choreography and she is the one on her little pink raft. Maya, the explorer with the telescope, found her. Probably explains why only her verses were all picked up by Miihi. As to why Miihi only appear in certain part of the video with the exception of the dance choreography is because she's currently recovering due to poor health.
Omg I love your videos and I really hope that you get to react to so bad by stayc. They are a new girl group and I really love the vocals and it’s just such a great song to dance to, also thx for reacting to a lot of kpop groups I really enjoy your videos.
