In this episode I travel to Nizwa, the historical capital of Oman. I visit Nizwa Souq, one of the oldest markets in Oman, and try so many varieties of Omani dates, I also try the unique Omani dessert, Halwa, which is so delicious!
I also explore the beautiful historic Nizwa Fort which has stunning views over Nizwa town.
I then visit the nearby historical village of Birkat al Mouz and walk through the incredible date palm oasis. Finally, I end my journey high up in the Jabal Akhdar mountains, with absolutely incredible views!

Stop calling yourself a "vlogger". You are not a vlogger. You are a filmmaker! That was some of the most incredible cinematography I've ever seen on RU-vid. You rarely see amateur RU-vidrs produce such professional and high quality content. That wasn't a vlog, it was a documentary. It looked like a BBC travel documentary. You've really started something truly incredible here, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing the rest of your Oman series, and other adventures.

Wow, we just discovered your awesome channel today and subscribed. I went to Nizwa in 1996 and even back then without much of the facilities of today, I found it fascinating. Oman is really beautiful, a hidden gem in the middle east. Would love to visit again in the near future. Love & respect from Bangladesh

Wow what a wonderful n amazing sightseeing. I wish they could plant trees symmetrically on the mountains like how Turkey does it, it would just create not only beautiful landscapes but help the locals with fruits of nature. I have visited Oman many years back on a short visit. Your appearance matches with the locals except your dresses. I have had Omani halwa many years later when I was in Qatar.....🌹☺️

Great video! However, the translation for the call to prayer was not correct. For example, "haya ala alfalah" translates to "come to victory."

@@Malini.Angelica Generally speaking I would agree with u. But this guy seems to be a tour guide. He is also Muslim. What he is translating is not a tour guide. İt is extremely important. He should pay more attention and respect to his religion and to his job. To be able to translate the call to the prayer is nothing special. I can't speak English well either. To translate it in a more proper way is really not hard. He totally changed/cracked the meaning.

The translation of call to prayer is not correct at the second part of it . When he call ash hadu Anna la ilaha I’ll Allah= this means I believe there is no God but Allah and Mohammad is Messenger
