Despite the earthquake that happened earlier that morning, I decided to do my weekly railfanning at Waldwick without the worry of a possible aftershock. In the end, I got some cool hornshows with the two highlights being Port Jervis Line Trains 47 and 61.
Use these playlists to watch certain videos. Since I have a bunch of archives from previous years, I created these playlists to organize videos by the year they were recorded.

I used to travel to Hoboken every day in 2000-2002. I remember that station before the apartments were built.

Yeah I was a little kid when that new building didn’t exist yet. The rail museum on the other side of the apartments didn’t exist either, man do things change!

Ah! As someone who travels all over North Jersey daily for work, it's weird to see all of the trains that mess up my work schedule in stunning 4k! You don't need a timetable to see when the train is coming to Ramsey or Hackensack or, Woodcliff Lake etc. They come exactly 10 seconds before my car nears the RR crossing. I especially love when multiple trains do a forward/reverse dance in the middle of Ramsey😆

Yeah the Main/Bergen County Line is very busy! The lines start separate and then join together at Ridgewood then run all the way until they terminate at Suffern. It’s my favorite line to railfan on because there are so many trains with a variety of engines!

Yup that's him! Also, I'm sure we'll run into each other again. Even if my life gets very busy or if I lose the passion to see trains, I'll still go to Waldwick no matter what.

The reason why NJ Transit has the worst on time record is because they run electric trains. When a storm or high winds hit the tree branches they fall on the wires and it causes delays, then you have power outages.

Yeah one of my engineer friends told me about those types of scenarios with electric trains. Nowadays, we seem to be getting more dual power locomotives so hopefully that’ll help with delays a little.
