This song is a celebration, an invitation to enjoy a party. I didn't "grow up" listening to NKOTB, I was already an adult when they started to be successful. But I had a niece, 10/11 years old. And through her I started to hear them. But being 7/8 years older, I saw them as boys. 😉 But as Donnie said in an interview years ago, about meeting the "girls" from the 1st phase, adults and who left them "jaws dropped" 😂 ... The same happens with the women who considered them "boys". These boys have grown into attractive adult men and it can be said, "like wine, the older the better"! ...😍 🤣🤣
