“Ich habe sehr gerne deinen Worten gelauscht und würde gerne in Verbindung bleiben.” Mit dieser Kurznachricht fing es an - drei Jahre später ist daraus das Modell ONU geworden. ONU erzählt von der Kraft einer Partnerschaft und von Perspektivwechseln.
Aus der Kollaboration zwischen Wildling und dem nachhaltigen nigerianischen Label NKWO, kuratiert von Beatrace Angut Lorika Oola, ist ein Modell entstanden, das Verbindungen schafft, wo zu lange Trennungen waren: Zwischen Europa und Afrika, zwischen Fashion und Minimalschuhen, zwischen Konventionen und Zukunftsvisionen. ONU lädt uns alle ein, vermeintlich Bekanntes mit neuen Augen zu sehen.

"I really enjoyed listening to your words and would like to stay in touch." It all started with this virtual short message - three years later, it has become a shoe you can touch, slip into and run away in. The ONU model tells of the power of a partnership and of changes in perspective.
The collaboration between Wildling and the sustainable Nigerian label NKWO, curated by Beatrace Angut Lorika Oola, has resulted in a model that creates connections where for too long there have been divisions: Between Europe and Africa, between fashion and minimal shoes, between conventions and visions of the future. ONU invites us all to see the supposedly familiar with new eyes.
