This is what a typical "Naga leader" looks like people!! Been following this news from the beginning with hopes of a change in the society, a revival in the Naga youths to fight against the system but it looks like another "Naga Tale" almost too familiar is in the making again. How can an elected representative, a leader to a group of like-minded people fighting for the same cause be so naïve as to give in to the system against which they are fighting? You have let down, not only your esteemed Trained Home Guards but the people of Nagaland as well. Much shame to you and your leadership qualities or rather the lack of.
Can't agree more with you. I too have been following this development right from the start. You cannot judge a book by its cover but you can surely judge a person on the simple basis of what they say and what they do. And from what i can see so far, there is nothing to be happy about for us naga youths. It's not a win, it is actually a loss as usual.

Remember, respect is not demanded it is earned, and by the looks of it, you have let down a lot of people for your own convenience and in the process lost the respect of a lot of people, including members of the general public like myself. It looks to me like You have already lost respect of your team at an earlier stage and I wouldnt blame them after seeing this outcome today.

In this instance, I am very saddened, as a hopeful Naga Youth, to say that we again got played by the hands of oppressors and the authoriterian - the so-called "Leaders". This was a very good opportunity for the future of a "Progressive Nagaland". Sad to see that it still remains a "Fantasy" 😮💨

If appointment order is released for 21, what about the rest? "Fought together but benefitted some", this is unfair unless the appointment order dates or years is fixed. Everyone seems to be selfish here....

Chill.. They took it because they've no option. May be their financial side is weak or so and so. Just because you were shot doesn't mean even your friend should be shot dead. Be logical. Govt cannot appoint more than 100 jobs in one go. Also those who didn't get should fight like them and get one by one. It's impossible to sanction money for 200+ people that are left. Congrats to all who got the appointment. And those who think that this is unfair can we think in a real way cos the reality is, this is a government service we are seeing and I believe it is nearly impossible to employ more than 200 members at once (correct me if I'm wrong) and all should be understandable and wait for their turns as the fight started and it is showing results. Everything shall be done as accordingly. 🤞
For all those who are saying that only the leaders got the job,you are wrong, there were only few leaders, i think 5 of them among the 21 jobs that were given. If all the job opportunities did not accomodate all the people, Why dont you pressure the governmet to create more job opportunities? Why accuse the leaders? Are you implying that the leaders should not get the job but you should? Did you not listen to the interview? It is clearly said that more appointment will be made when the vacancy is available. Please do not hate the wrong people who fought for your rights. You are throwing your fellow friends under the bus just because you did not get the job. It takes time to please everyone.
