When the Canadian politician, Allan Pope said, "people shouldn’t be afraid of their government. Government should be afraid of their people", he meant to say that the people are employers of their governments. In Imo State, the frosty relationship between organized labour, a representative of the people, seems to negate the concise statement of the Canadian politician. Whereas, Governor Hope Uzodinma says the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero must learn to draw a line between being a labour leader, and being a partisan Imo State indigene. Organized labour has vowed to take action against the Governor, following the brutalization of the Ajaero. Are we in for some fireworks

I would have agreed with you if you say channels television. Arise is the worst television station in Nigeria especially the Rufai Oseni you mentioned who has thrown the ethics of his profession to the dustbin fighting like a garage boy in their studio. Jide, apples and oranges! We're talking about Imo elections here. NLC has a party, LP. Ajaero is NLC president and therefore a LP member. NLC can never have a president who supports any other party other than a NLC party. He'll be flushed out. NLC put up LP to run and win elections. Ajaero can never be nonpartisan. That's silly to expect him to be non partisan. Jide has declined as a journalist. Today, Jide cannot get that title they gave him in SE, because Nigerians now know that Jide is not a true journalist, but an APC Political Hack!
