Wish my grandma would have lived to have seen the Cubs actually win a world series. I was raised a Cardinals fan by my parents, my grandpa was a Cardinals fan and Grandma was a Cubs fan. Most of the rest of the family live close to Boston and are Red Sox fans. One trip to Fenway in "87 and I instantly in love with the park. There is a special feeling at Fenway, Wrigley, Great American and Doger stadium that gives you chills of nostalgia and history. I went to the last Cardinals vs Cubs game at the Old Bush stadium in St. Louis and that night they had over an hours worth of pre-game festivities of all the past greats still living, the Budweiser Clydesdales made a lap around the field and even though it was 102° that evening and in the old circular ball stadium that held heat, it still gave me chills. Good times!
