The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has said the petrol from the Dangote refinery will be sold at an estimated pump price of N950.22 per litre in Lagos and N1,019.22 in Borno state. The pump price of petrol by the Dangote refinery is higher than the NNPCL which currently sells at N855 at its outlets in Lagos, and N897 in the Northern part of the country, thereby dashing the hopes of Nigerians that Dangote products will crash the price of fuel when it is eventually rolled into the market.

Prices don’t have to be uniform. Let the market be free. PMS is like any commodity. There is no uniformity in the price of bread in Ikeja and the one in Ikoyi or Ikorodu. Let each trader set his own prices.

Pls can you do viewers a favour by not insulting them with unknowledgeable such as this lady? And I don’t mean that in a derogatory manner! She is totally clueless. Stop putting panels of people together because they know someone in your TV station or because they look beautiful. Does she understand the terms “deregulation”, “market forces”, “price war”? So, a company that took loans to establish a filling station must apply “uniformity” in price with NNPC even when their overheads are far higher and their margins much smaller, hence unable to absorb price shocks like NNPC could? In any case, why worry that multiple filling stations have different prices in your area when you can easily drive to the nearest station to fill up and help to either force the pricier filling stations to either reduce prices or out of patronage? Do market-women in Onitsha Market all price their yams at exactly the same amount? Don’t you price around and then buy the best value at the cheapest price? Please help your station by getting more cerebral guests!

I felt this one for her oh. Abeg pardon her.

The choice of word is so bad and derogatory already. Tame your tongue for heaven's sake. Her stance of " compassionate " as basis for disparities in prices clearly shows she's not an expert. I agree to having knowledgeable hosts

@@chinenyeonuba5932 go and get a life. That interview is very derogatory to the station. People like you are the reasons why stations like this keep entertaining mediocrity.

@@madamdmadam7542 I didn’t mean it in an unkind way. The TV station did not do the lady any favours by posting the interview on social media.

@@madamdmadam7542 I didn’t mean it in a bad way. Just upset that a National TV Station is making interviews such as this one, its standard. It has become all too common with TVC.
