True! Don’t like giving up a touchdown, to Iowa, or any team that doesn’t deserve it! It pisses me off when Ryan Day, or any head coach that Ohio State has had, does this! I understand that you need to give backups game experience, and also they earned the right to play, as well, but when the starting defense busted their ass to shut a team out, and you take that away from them, that is wrong, and should not happen, period! I don’t know why Ohio State comes out slow sometimes, but needs to stop, because it will probably bite them in the ass eventually! Ohio State needs to come out with their hair on fire next week against Oregon, and the remainder of the season, as well, and I think they will! I’m not concerned at all about Oregon, or anyone else, for that matter! Ohio State is the best team in America, and Oregon is going to find that out next week! Let’s Go! 🌰🏈
The Buckeyes can not continue this ugly habit of coming in each game in a state of coma for 1st quarter or first half and then wake up in the 2nd half. Eventually, this ugly habit will cost them much down the road. I do not know whether it is a bad scheme, bad play calling or lack of motivation by players! Also, I do not think taking out all starters of Offense and Defense with 10 minutes remaining in the game is a good decision. The Backup Defense cost them 1 TD for Iowa.
i agree that the starters should've stayed in. eventually we'll need them for four quarters and they need to have the stamina to go the distance. the early starts are fine: the turnovers are not. there's no slow start without a fumble and int.
You sound like a NERD that don’t understand Football, they won 35-0 with the starters against one of the BEST DEFENSES in college football, to expect a BLOWOUT no matter who they play SHOWS how much football you’ve played or EVEN KNOW🤫🤫🤫
In my opinion, this was a smart move to put in the the back ups and get them good live reps it's a long season. Gotta keep our starters healthy be smart it's chess not checkers.
