Thank you for sharing your beautiful card. When I do reverse die cutting I run the die cut back through my machine with a piece of scrap paper to smooth out the edges. That way I don't risk tearing my element with the bone folder. Much quicker and easier too. Love all your videos and tips.

My favourite beings.. seahorses!! ... i have a 2 die seahorse set (top die with details + background die) so am pleased with ur suggestion of popping up on diamensional foam... if i didnt have background die i would, mayb, draw around seahorse die, fussy cut out, leave this plain or colour it n adhere detailed seahorse on top = easier to add foam to the solid background?? mayb doubling workload tho... ur so inspirational Jan :) Happy New Year. Thank you for such interesting vids & all your previous help ... hobbies are keeping me going, physiclly and mentally = especially important in this covid climate. Stay Healthy x

I love this card, Jan. I'm working on putting together a card using your ideas for this one (I'll post it when I'm done on your group, hope it turns out ok). If you are ok with being a bit fiddly, a solution to the small fish eyes for inside your card: Grab a sequin mix and look for the little tiny bits that fall out of the centers of the sequins. Use those little dots with a *tiny* dab of glue for the eyes. I've used that trick a couple of times, now (and my magnifying glasses). ~Kimy

Seriously, I do know what you mean and I think they will also be useful for putting inside an eye that's just a small empty circle - especially if adhered to one side so the image is looking in a certain direction. (I wonder if it would work). xx

Happy New Year Jan. I’ve been crafting for years and still learn new things from you. I have dies that always miss cutting ing certain areas and always end up tearing the card, thinking it’s the die. Never thought that the die is supposed to be that way for the reason you suggested.

What if you use adhesive sheets and are careful when you cut? Can you remove the backing and place it on the white piece

Hi, Anna. That is an excellent question! First, adhesive sheets: theoretically, yes it would work but it would be a real challenge to get all the small areas into exactly the correct position. Tombow allows wiggle room. Second, Foam Adhesive Sheets: these sheets were designed to be used with dies! Unfortunately, I don't want to give it a try in case it's a real struggle to get the small bits and the sticky out of all the holes! xx

I love your cards! I just found your channel and watched the Diamond Z Fold Card! It’s so beautiful and your instructions are perfect. Now I’m watching this video because I love seahorses. I’m confused as to why you have to snip the paper in those 4 places on your die cut. Is that a flaw in the die or was it made that way for a reason. I haven’t finished the video yet, so maybe the answer comes later. I just wanted to pop this question on here while it’s fresh in my mind. I can’t wait to watch more of your videos!

Many thanks Chris and welcome to my channel! No, the die was designed like that so we can lay another layer under the die-cut to highlight the image. I don't know why SU do that sometimes instead of allowing the die-cut to be complete. Like that we can always adhere the image back into the negative space. Maybe, it's to give us a bit of a variance or a change? Whatever the reasoning, this seahorse die is fabulous. I haven't used the fish die yet! xx
