NO-BAKE Lactation Bolz Recipe | Solenn Heussaff 

2 cups of Old fashioned oats 2 table spoon of Brewer’s yeast 1/2 cup of Flax (grind) 1/2 cup of Peanut butter 1/4 cup of Honey 2 teaspoons of vanilla 1/2 cup of Pure Dark Chocolate chips (60%)

Even tho the recipe is looking amazing needs to be taken in consideration that peanut butter is a strong allergen both for moms and babies and the allergen group should not be consumed at least in the first 6 months postpartum. Don't forget to check if you have any allergy reaction to that. normally if a mother have allergy to any ingredient there is a high possibility for the baby to have it as well through the breast milk. I am a mom with peanut butter allergy and i found that in the most unwanted way- during pregnancy (before pregnancy i was not allergic to it). So just careful with the possible allergies. Eat just one first and wait at least 5 min to check any reactions or just taste a tsp of peanut butter and wait to see if any allergies occur before you do the cookies! anyway they look so yummy! i wish i could have had them as well

I’ve used a recipe that is pretty much the same as this for my first two babies and it has been great- I produce enough for my babes, but I like to get a little extra so that I can store some and have some for my husband to feed so I can sleep. I was re-looking up ratios again now that I’m on baby #3. I love substituting the chocolate for dried cranberries- I also just press the mix into a pan and then slice it into squares instead of rolling it because… laziness.

The best way to make milk is to just breastfeed more often. Oxytocin, the hormone, gets released as your nipples are being suckled or stimulated by your child. And of course the bonding between you and your child releases more oxytocin as well. I'm still breastfeeding my 3 year old child and I don't have to make these certain foods to keep producing milk. All I know is I drink a lot of water throughout the day. I know I have milk because every now and then I squeeze to see if I still have some, and yup still do.
