NO BALLOONS IN CAPPADOCIA? (Here's what to do instead) 

We had ticked off incredible Ephesus and the amazing thermal pools at pammukale and we REALLY wanted to make the Turkey Tourist Bucket list a '3 for 3' but Cappadocia had other plans.
In this video we explain what to do in cappadocia when theres no balloons!
To be fair, we DID come to Turkey in the offseason and all the people, both other tourists and locals in Cappadocia were really great.
We just had the unfortunate timing of missing all hot air balloons. We knew that there were hikes through the fairy chimneys too, so all hope was not lost.
What we didn't anticipate was incredible winds whipping up dust that got in our eyes and painted our faces!
All in all, we did have a good time and this video should not be taken as a reflection of the town.
When we're asked what cappadocia is really like our answer is AWESOME!
The timing of our visit just wasn't right, but does give us a great excuse to go back ;)
