@@Orange-Jumpsuit-Time the comment is a year old. I fixed it by hard resetting everything and changing my main disk to my m.2 ssd. As a result, I lost things that didn't have a backup such as Photos and Videos. Oh well.

Summary Starting in Windows 10, version 1803, Windows no longer automatically backs up the system registry to the RegBack folder. If you browse to the \Windows\System32\config\RegBack folder in Windows Explorer, you will still see each registry hive, but each file is 0 kb in size. [12:05 AM] Andrew Lima This change is by design, and is intended to help reduce the overall disk footprint size of Windows. To recover a system with a corrupt registry hive, Microsoft recommends that you use a system restore point.

Hi Ram Monzon, on some systems, the regback feature is deactivated by default, you can find more information on this in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: dell.to/3J45mrj If that is the case on your system, you may need to reinstall the OS. You could also contact the Dell Support directly for further help. You can see the contact information here: dell.to/3XGpu6S If possible, try to run the system diagnostics first, as described here: For PowerEdge Server: dell.to/3XNNLYz For Client Systems: dell.to/3wqjaVv Thank you.

@DellEnterpriseSupport Год назад
Hello nickwalco, it seems like the folder is set to "readonly" and this is preventing you from creating a new folder in it. You could change the readonly status using the "attrib" command. You can find more information here: dell.to/3M4g7KW The system32 folder holds important files for your Windows installation to run, so changing any of those may prevent the installation from working. If you need further help, please contact the Dell Support directly at dell.to/46LiyKN if you are not using a Dell Server or PC, please reach out to Microsoft for help on your Windows Operating System here: dell.to/3Qgi4X5 Thank you.

@@DellEnterpriseSupport Yes... Obviously I can "activate subtitles..." That is not the point. I shouldn't have to. This is something that irritates me about many instructional youtube videos. For some reason, people feel the need to have loud music playing in the bakground while they are attempting to explain a procedure, which is most likely of a subject unfamiliar to the viewer. It's like "I'm going to explain to you how to do this, but I will play music over my instructions to make it more difficult for you to understand."
