In the second option, when i typed active, a message promped to me that said:the selected disk is not a fixed MBR disk The active command can only be used on fixed MBR disks

Whenever I put the USB inside, the laptop doesnt start up at all and I also cannot enter the boot or startup menu. Edit: I figured out the issue, it was the USB. When I do the CM prompt stuff, there is no Partition, just DVD-ROM

For method 2, I got to list volume and I didn’t have a partition there. Only had a removable which was my USB? After I typed ‘list part’ it said there are no partitions on this disk to show’. Please help

I Converted my Drive from GPT to MBR, tried using SSD on old old computer. Could never find the Boot Mode: Legacy in my BIOS, so i figured the BIOS does not support GPT/UEFI. So i fixed it by having my Boot setting as AHCI and converting my drive to "MBR for BIOS". Now it reads my SSD. No more: "No bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key”

so when I try the secure boot, nothing pops up in boot drives, but in legacy boot it does, but when I click the usb drive it says the insert boot disk and press any key

Hi, how do i remove a second user on the login screen eventhough it dosent appear under user accounts in windows. i am only user and as administrator. i somehow added another account a year ago when having trouble in log in passwords and now i have to select the correct user then type password at the login screen. 2 Tim;s appear at the login screen and only the right one i get in through using a password which i can remove later so the computer can boot right through without going through the login screen, but now it jams to that other user and type password.

I accidentally hit button diagnosed then i restart i cannot go to settings for troubleshot anymore, how to remove that recovery, should i reinstall again?

Hello bro, I was installing windows 8 in macOS high sierra through bootcamp assistant, after installation the system was asking for a code number written on the back of the bootable device, when I went to check, by mistake the PC wire is disconnected from mac mini.
