One of my all-time favorite HxH chapters. Legit had me in tears. I'm honestly surprised how casually you managed to read some of those lines without getting emotional at all KOL. lol

Let me say it, the spiders didn't kill the kurta clan, it was the Mafia. And since chrollo's childhood friend sheila (who we know is also kurapika's childhood friend from chapter 0) she went to live with the kurta clan, we see her leaving meteor city in the end of this chapter, and since we hear chrollo saying he wants to use the internet to his advantage, he was probably one of the first to hear about the clan's massacre through the dark web, he went there with the spiders to check on sheila if she was alive, found everyone dead, then left the message saying that they did it, and through the dark web spreaded that rumor so the world would be terrified of the troupe and would never approach meteor city, which was his goal he literally said in this episode I'll the make the world terrified of me.

when i think about it the same kind of murder/torture TAPE was mentioned in YU YU HAKUSHO's Chapter Black Arc , with Sensui as the main antagonist , it had the same effect on fundamentally changing him and his crew , but also Sensui was already fked up before watching it by witnessing the atrocities done on the Demons by the Black Black Club Crime syndicate

I loved this chapter!

the flash back basically set it on stone, this arc is the final hoorah for Kurapika and the spider. As quoted by Togashi himself "They will all die!" I can even imagine it the moment Kurapika get all of his clan's eyes the emperor time finally caught up with him.....dying together surrounded by his clan's eyes which symbolising him finally reuniting with all of his clan. The Troupe will all die in the biggest stage that any trope wished to have, to perform in front of a king(Yeah i know they didn't literally attack the king but I picturing the black whale ship is the center stage of the human world right now (even all zodiac and lot important figures are there). I must add that even though I like the trope as a villain, dying in Hisoka's hands is the best way they goes out.....Hisoka hunted them down just because (there isn't any vengeance like kurapika or anything) just simply Hisoka being a psychopathic clown.

The most devastating thing about this chapter was the play being called off indefinitely forever jk but for real seeing that bag filled with so much suffering and despair how Chrollo speaks and feels after this makes moments before mean so much more to me than before but my favourite thing about this chapter was all of them together pledging to change the world in their own way I could talk about this chapter for hours lol

With this Chapter I think Sheila was killed by the Kurata Clan. Uvo said that they were super strong, next to this the message that the the Phantom Troupe left behind suggest that they took something from them. I go with this theory

Don freeccs got us set up through his books for an east, west, south and north part of the dark continent. this has the potential to be bigger world building than OP or Toriko by far
