my best no-cap kill all story is from several years ago, i screwed up early game on cliff with a T-10 and slid half way down, but back when friendly fire was still on, so in the end of the game one of the artillery was so adamant about killing that they shot their own teammate who was capping, to end in a draw because none of them could kill me trapped where I was
Back when I was still playing WoT, I really liked the Grille 15, not on the red line sniping, but on the front in 2nd line or even besides some mediums. It's really fast for a TD with this kind of gun and delivering 750 damage from an aggressive position noone actually expects you to be in with great accuracy was more then enough to win 53% of my games and deal 2600 damge per game
Whenever I reach the cap I always stay there, even if we are winning 10-4. I've seen games lost thanks to morons going full trololo when they were 1-shot for the enemies. For these situations the HP bar helps a lot, because if you have more tanks but the HP difference is minimal that tells you your teammates are close to get killed.
I can confidently say that the Grille doesn't need a turbo. I would go as far as saying it is a waste of an equipment slot because the engine power brings it up to 60 without it if you got the field mod which reduces terrain resistance. A rotation mechanism or a bounty aim device are the way to go. Helps a bit with the gun handling or brings the accuracy down to 0.21 without rations respectively. (You said yourself the Grille is all about the accuracy) Exhaust is interesting and might be worth it in some situations, but I'd rather take optics to have smth like 480 view range instead which helps more often imo.
I just wg gave the possibilty to mount wt auf pz IV 's 128mm gun on this tank. With same stats as the tier 9 (they are very very good even at tier 10), but with mobility of grille 15. When you pick between guns , the turrets would change ,much like on wt auf pz IV, giving grille slightly better cammo if it uses 128mm. The WT's 128mm gun for me feels like best gun in game, with amazing combo of alfa and dpm , accuracy ,aimtime , and dispersion which is much better than grille ( 0.12 vs 0.40 !!!). It wouldnt be op , i would be a good addition from wg .
@QuickyBaby Experimental Turbo might also be a good idea (unless you use bounty or bond turbo) since it also improves the terrible gun soft stats a tiny bit
I've lost to many battles due to my team falling into the "kill all, no cap" mind set. Even had to play dodge tank one time because someone kept trying to push me out of cap once. Screw that mentality.
agreed. had a glacier map where my team decided wasting time chasing a hellcat was far better than capping and securing the win. the game ended in draw all because of that mentality
Mannn i absolutely adore the grille 15 its such an epic underrated beast i have such massive games in this thing but people cant complain cause everybody says its "bad" definitely not OP anyway lol but its sooooo much fun i do better in tanks like this than i do "OP" type of tanks
LOL dude it's a big fun to read it. Dispersion and accuracy are practically the same parameter. The better is your accuracy, the lower is your dispersion. End of story. And what you mean to say is that Grille has got a bad gun stabilization, which means if it turns left or right by 90 degrees, it's reticle size would go BLOOOOOM! But that's nothing to do with actual accuracy or dispersion values, as they are measured only when you are fully aimed.
pov: quicky baby telling everyone to stop and listen before ranting in the comments abt which tank has the highest sccuracy in the game. me: eating cereal
I still find it crazy that the grille has less camo then the jagtiger. Clearly wargaming should eventually buff its camo especially considering how it has no armour and it’s turret is very small. Credit to Maxgamingfps for pointing it out.
Does anyone still think this tank has an accurate gun? Full focus is not important. He hits wherever he wants. Example 3:42 Also, even if it deals damage, it usually stays below 750.
Agree 100%. If a person is acting like he can give commands to the others, I would do everything to ruin his day. Imagine. We are 15 people who get on the bus together. We have a ride for maximum 15 minutes together, then, everyone goes his own direction. What's your ethics on the bus? Be polite, yet invisible. Don't talk bad, don't smell bad. Don't disturb others. If you recognize someone, smile and greet him shortly. Be invisible, but don't be blind. If you see someone being unfairly bullied, protect them, if they cannot protect themselves. But if you see that a bully or a big mouth is being punished and slaughtered by the mob, don't protect them. He is being punished for a reason. --- One of the most satisfying things in this game after 9 years of playing it was to see 11 "Affirmative!" messages after I said to report the guy who said it's a lost game during the pre-battle countdown. He was an XVM user and the dog decided to bark out loud that our team is not good enough for him, he said "LOST 100%" at the beginning. We won the match dramatically, and 11 people stayed there, observed and kept silence until the final shot was made. After we carried the game, I had my hands shaking, all I could type was "Thank you, please report the dog who said it's lost". After that instantly, I have received eleven "Affirmative!" messages in the chat. They all stayed there and watched until the end. Silent, but not blind. The best team of my life.
"I can't believe the most accurate tank in the game just missed there." I can. I was once close enough to an M103 that the entire tank filled the reticle when fully aimed in, yet far enough away that when I fired I wasn't spotted. M103 has no armor compared to the pen of the Grille 15, especially when giving the side as it duels a team mate. Still the game found places to put my rounds where not a single one would do damage. Like as far up and to the side as possible when shooting at the side of the M103 so that my round hits the gun mantle on the front of the turret... yeah that's an automatic bounce. The game didn't let a single round go where I was aiming until the M103 had beat my team mate, but by then it is too late. It's just one shot. I no longer have a spotter, the M103 drops from view before I reload again. By the time I see him again, he will see me and I stand no chance. It's moments like those that make you realise which team the game has decided will win. One team is granted all of their shots while being protected from all opposing shots. Having the best accuracy doesn't mean a single thing.
That was fun to watch. My Grille couldn't hit $h!7 so I sold it😅 There's a replay on wotreplays - Astron Rex on Fjords. Does 7k dmg - 7x more dmg than the next teammate and as much dmg as the rest of the team. Aslo 9 kills(2 of them piggies) and a FullHP detonation! Also there's Quickybaby in the title. Check it out if you wanna 🙂 Cheers
I mean.. I had a good game in a good tank. My plays were tight, I outplayed the opponents using the tank's advantages, game knowledge and some luck, but paying people? No. And I'm not gonna waste my time on this any further, you can think whaterver you'd like.
@@milos-7712 you realize if you weren't guilty of rigging you wouldn't have even bothered to defend yourself to a stranger on the internet? Lmao, you make it way too obvious. How many of your other good games were paid for? Bet I could find some kind of pattern of good games being clustered in one month here, one month there. Because you pay rigging companys by the month. The fact you would waste money to have decent stats and maybe get featured on a RU-vid channel is extremely sad. You may want to consider going outside.
I have no idea what a Forest Spirit even is. @QuickyBaby You should consider making a video on rare vehicles in the game. I know there are a lot of em. It could be interesting.
I feel like the wt auf pz.IV at T9 is better. It is better in pretty much every regard except mobility, accuracy and alfa damage. Even if you use the 15 cm you can still get 0.31 dispersion with your grille build. If you can hit your targets with the slow shell velocity you still have higher DPM and the same pen on the HEAT.
Man, I have seen too many... TOOOO FREAKING MANY... teams get screwed over saying "nO cAp, KiLl AlL." Most of the time when this happens, I'll just be the odd one out and sit on the cap. Then my team comes crying "please cap out," while I'm defending the cap 1 v 3 or some such.
Putting pressure on the enemy by starting the cap even if you're winning, will most likely help winning even faster, even if you kill everyone in the end. most of the time you're attacking against an ambush from the enemy in a strong defensive position, if you're on the winning team, usually if you don't suck too much you will overcome the defence with minor losses, but extra pressure by capping might break morale on the enemy team or cause some bad decision making and break their defence, and if everything still goes wrong you just win anyway.
@@cnikkorexactly! I just wish more people would understand that. Too many of my teammates either rush in and get killed or go 1 by 1 and feed the enemy a Radley-Walters Medal (happened about two weeks ago).
It only allows you to see the actual hit points within your render radius (the draw distance, also known as the biggest circle on the minimap). If the damage was dealt outside your big circle, the HP count on't be updated. That's the reason many players fall for an illusion that they are winning by HP but in fact, they can't get updates of what's happening on the other side of the map, and they are actually losing.
Grille is terrible, ghost shots, soft stats are trash, pen sucks, aim time is horrible, and dispersion is worse than arty. You can polish a turd, but it is still a turd and now your hands are dirty.
in my experience, the KV-2 152mm is more accurate than the grille. i cant tell you how many times i have seen the KV-2 one shot snipe people across the map with pinpoint accuracy compared to the grille's accuracy where like half the shots go outside of the aiming circle and you hit the 1 pixel you cant pen on paper tanks.
100% facts. If it wasn't a Tier 10 tank, I'd have sold it long ago. The accuracy is not what it says it is and no one can convince me otherwise. I play every tank line in the game and I legitimately can't fathom the Grille having anything better than a .4 dispersion rating. The only thing it has going for it is that it is SUPPOSE to be accurate, but it's so inaccurate that I'd never recommend it to anyone as their tier 10 tank. There is no reason at all to get or use the Grille over any other tier 10 TD.
Lost 65 games off loot boxes never got them WTE100 lost money,,,, just got told I have to wait till event is over to get my crew back by WOT when all of you are finished with that TD
I am guessing because he was already headed North when he was in the valley and since he is so slow wouldnt make since to turn around and then attack from the south.
I would actually argue about the grille being the most accurate tank, okay sure maybe STATISTICALLY it is. But the gun is so ungodly derpy often that I would take the title of accurate away from it. the amount of times ive fully aimed at stuff with this thing just for it to derp way to the side has made me actually give up trying to mark it.
The amount of QB enjoyers that are like “yeah good plan on capping” as they sit in their retirement homes is crazy. Bases should be removed or the time to cap should be increased by 50%+ As a kid I watched lots of QB and it’s taken me years to unlearn the garbage strategies that this guy engrained in me back then.
