@CharlieBityBytes yeah sadly in a vlive. She had been trolled so many times about being "ugly" that I heard her mom actually made a plea for people to stop saying it about her. In turn they made fun of chaer's mom and in a later vlive Chaer actually asked them to quit with that quote. Seeing her face and hearing the pain she was trying to hide made even more heartbreaking. To know she gave up so much of her young life to make it to where she is only to have hateful/jealous people break her down is horrible. They all are so pretty. Beauty is subjective and not everyone has the same standards. The internet can be so toxic, especially to celebs or influencers who are always constantly in the public eye for anyone to judge behind their usernames as they feel more comfortable to do so as they are hidden. It’s really sad to see that maybe some people online said negative things about her personality or appearance and maybe that is why she doesn’t think she’s pretty. Everyone is beautiful and pretty in their own ways. Please don’t say negative things to yourself. Most people always look at their “flaws” that society has deemed as “unattractive” when in reality some celebrity has it and looks a certain way that it becomes popular as they have thousands of people who look up to them for many different reasons and maybe want to look or act more like them to feel closer to them or to feel better about themselves to feel change. Then when they do it everyone else may notice that they are now the odd one out and want to fit in as it is part of human nature to do so, so then maybe that person then does the same thing and then they may think to themselves how they feel beautiful or better looking, when in reality they were just told ‘this is what is pretty now. You will not be deemed pretty or wanted if you look different than this.’ The pressure that society has on everyday normal people is very sad. I hope to see the day where everyone can feel happy and safe in their own skin.

I’m pretty sure she genuinely thinks she’s not the prettiest you can tell just by how she says it. The red light probably went off because she was thinking “I wish I was prettier, I wish I was as pretty as the other members.” Chaer may not be everyone’s favorite visual but no one can deny that she’s beautiful. She’s a kpop idol, you have to be pretty. But beyond that she’s sooo pretty. More and more people are noticing her visual these days, how her confidence goes up!
