Recipe here: www.joyofbakin... Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make No Churn Strawberry Ice Cream. The first No Churn Ice Cream I made was vanilla flavored. I liked it so much that I decided to make this strawberry flavored No Churn Ice Cream. It has a deliciously rich strawberry flavor with a wonderfully smooth and creamy texture. To achieve the intense strawberry flavor I used both fresh and freeze dried strawberries. And I roasted the fresh strawberries which causes them to release their juices so their flavor intensifies.

I absolutely love this channel! Honestly if you are wanting to open your own bakery, this channel will be your guide for perfect recipes. I’ve used so many of her recipes that I take to friends and they always question where I got them from. For example, I’ve tried so many of her cookies such as chocolate chip, snickerdoodle cookies etc. Homemade cookies are sooo much better than store bought. By no means I am good at baking.

Great that OUR GREENHOUSES are just harvesting the first Strawberries of their "Spring Collection" in Ontario this week; but I might have tried this with a big bag of thawed out frozen berries, as an experiment, if did not have fresh ones. The WAITING is the only "hard part". 🍁

Roasting the strawberries sounds crazy but it really does work and makes a wonderful sauce also with cheesecake or regular cake served as a dessert, for example Stephanie's Yogurt Cake. The no churn vanilla was wonderful so I will be trying this one out too. If you have an ice cream machine check out Stephanie's Strawberry Sherbet which is really good too.

I tried this no churn ice cream 🍨 and it is better than the store bought. Stephanie thank you for all the good work that you are doing. I have already stopped buying cookies and cakes from the store and now it’s the turn of the ice creams. I was pleasantly surprised 😲 with the outcome as there were no ice crystals formed. I made this strawberry 🍓 and vanilla ice cream that you posted. Now I am thinking 💭 of trying an apricot one on the similar lines of strawberry one. Thank you for the recipes that you post. I've always made my ice cream this way because I never wanted to buy a machine (it takes up to much space.) You don't have to beat the c.milk once you get stiff peeks of heavy w.cream you can fold it in, add what you want to it and freeze. 6 hours later, you have ice cream!!

Hi Stephanie, I’m a big fan of you. You’re a really good teacher and your recipes are always a hit. But I am having trouble with the butter cakes (cakes that have butter in them or have a thick consistency). They rise well in the oven, but as soon as they cook off they start to deflate. What am I doing wrong?
@joyofbaking
@joyofbaking 2 года назад
There can be a few reasons for that happening. I’m assuming that you don’t live at a high elevation. Reasons can be the cake wasn’t fully baked, baked at the wrong temperature, too much leavening, or improper mixing.
@KarinEMAR

Those are ice cream rocks that is what happens to mine after a use a ice -cream maker and it gets hard after being in a freezer,if you look at a ice -cream package they use stabilizers so it stays soft which I bought and still trying to figure out which ones to use to keep it soft.
@joyofbaking
@joyofbaking 2 года назад
I don’t find that the ice cream is that hard. If you do then I would just take it out of the freezer and let it sit a bit at room temperature before serving. If your ice cream is really hard, maybe try raising the temperature of your freezer. I set my freezer temp. at 0 F (-17C).

I tried to make strawberry no churn.. I used 500 g frozen which I defrosted and then blended.. no water added. I didn’t have pan frozen but ingredients were cold.. The ice cream slightly crystallized.. I Cldnt afford fresh strawberries at all.. they are currently $AUD6.50 for a 250g punnet.. so .. $Aud26.00 for 1lb strawberries... just not doable in winter in Australia at the moment.. I added about half a pkt jelly crystals which I used with 1/4tr of recommended water! Basically something went a tad wrong.. mixture made a lot more than vanilla about 1/3rd more.. It’s totally edible and flavor is great but I have to take it out about 15 minutes before so little crystals defrost., and it’s fine. Never thought of freeze dried.. I’ve never seen it here but maybe it’s here somewhere. The quantity blitzed from A 500g frozen pkt of strawberries was enough .. almost.. so I’ll make sure Pan and Ingredients are v cold next time and get them into the freezer ASAP. So it was good to see what you did.. !! Thk u . Everyone says it’s great but my vanilla didn’t crystallize at all. Just need to pay attention to detail when using fruit purée! 🐨🇦🇺👍🏼
@joyofbaking
@joyofbaking 2 года назад
If using frozen strawberries I would still roast them because frozen berries have a lot of water. Roasting them will cause them to release the water so you won’t end up with an icy textured ice cream . For frozen strawberries preheat oven to 400F (200C). Place the frozen berries in a pan and bake for about 20 to 30 minutes or until the berries are soft and the juices that were released have thicken. Let cool, purée, and then refrigerate until chilled then it’s ready to use in the ice cream.
