In order to build a custom subwoofer enclosure we need to start with a solid design and plan and then start our woodworking process. In this video we go through cutting the different pieces of a ported subwoofer box and adding details to them to refine them prior to assembly.

Your box builds are great. Some things I believe you touched on before. The resonance of your vehicle. The type of vehicle and how ported vs sealed in those vehicles can be different. Your coverage of bracing so many people miss.

Hey man remember me! I bought some box design specs from you 10 years ago for a project I did for my 95 for probe 5 speed. Was awesome, I still use them to this day built them in birch plywood, kerfed corners.

He has a great setup. My best friend in high school and I would do car audio. His dad had an amazing shop like this for us to use. The router table makes this so much easier.
